“I don’t know why you’re still with him though.”
“Why wouldn’t I still be with him?”
“You don’t seem happy.”
“How in the world do I not seem happy? He’s the only thing I talk about for crying out loud!”
“Yeah, I’ve noticed.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” You snapped.
“I don’t want you to get hurt Sofie.”
“How would I get hurt Zayn?”
Zayn remained quiet, staring at his hands in his lap.
“I didn’t think so. God why do you have to try to ruin stuff for me all of a sudden? I thought your supposed to be my best friend!”
“He’s cheating on you!” He spat out.
“He’s cheating on you. I’ve been seeing him with multiple girls around town. I didn’t know how to tell you. Please don’t be mad at me.”
“I’m not mad at you. You were only trying to help. And I snapped at you, I’m sorry Zayn.”
“I’m sorry, about your boyfriend.”
“I need to break up with him.” You sighed, putting your head in your hands. “Where am I going to live now? I knew I should’ve listened when my mom told me not to move in with him.”
“You would let me live here?”
“Of course, why wouldn’t I?”
“I don’t want to be a bother.”
“You could never be a bother to me.” He replied softly, reaching his hand up to tuck a stray hair behind your ear.
“Thanks,” You whispered. “It means a lot.”
“Anytime love.” He replied, staring into your eyes.
A loud ring from your phone erupted, causing you to jump and in the process kicking Zayn in the shin.
“Oh my- I’m so sorry!”
Zayn groaned, nodding his head.
“Hello?” You answered, not bothering to look at the id.
“I want you to move out.”
“What?” You asked confused.
“I’m breaking up with you. So you need to come get your stuff, like now.”
Your now ex replied, hanging up before you could even form a sentence.
“Sh. You were going to move out anyway. Now there won’t be an issue, just calm down Sofie.”
Your face was heating up in anger, but you nodded your head slowly.
“Will you drive me there?”
“Yup, let’s go.” Zayn replied, grabbing your hand, pulling you out the door.
