Day 4 of my all-thrifted challenge (this is from last Thursday). I was running late that day, and so this picture was taken while I was telling my friend the sad, sad story of how I had to change my skirt multiple times because I realized the belt I was wearing with my first skirt wasn’t thrifted and I didn’t have a good replacement.  That meant that I ran out of time to do my makeup or even brush my hair.  My hand is up to demonstrate the single tear that story deserves.

Menswear inspired today.  I thrifted this blazer a few years ago and wore it all. the. time. the first couple of years, but didn’t wear it at all last winter.  Definitely going to remedy that since power red is such a trend this season.

Got that homeschool mom jumper.  This dress is loose in the waist, and was about 8 inches longer when I found it at Goodwill, but the watercolor fabric was too beautiful and unique for me to leave it there.  Hemmed and with a belt this dress can pass for an eclectic preschool teacher’s outfit instead of 90s homeschool mom.
