this is not wasted time. time spent healing and growing and letting yourself feel all the things is never wasted.

Of all God’s wonders, you, Jesus, are the greatest. Nothing else compares with you.

God is so good. Read your Bible. Satan will make you feel discontent, like reading your Bible and praying is a chore. But it’s not. It’s a grand privilege. It’s the source of knowledge and wisdom. If you’re discontent, God is where you’re going to find that contentment. Not in whatever else you think you’d rather be doing. Even if you’re tired, busy, sick. Open your Bible.

To me, songs are kind of like bookmarks. Have you ever listened to a song that you haven’t heard in a while, and all of a sudden, all the memories of that time period come back, and you remember what your life used to be like. They’re like milestones in your life.
