We know, even if it's more fandom lore than really discussed in the serie, but the Milkovich house is fucking cold all the time.
Mickey knows he's gonna get cold every year, every day. So it's logical to him to just... Dress for it. Even if he's not in his house because it's a habit, something he does since he's young and a fucking kid.
He's not specifically cold, not really. But it's a preventive thing. He probably doesn't even do it consciously.
And he'll maybe never lose the habit.
Even if in his house, he's always kinda hot.
