I was thinking, alongside with the pose, those with wings would display them elegantly when addressing to their star Cx also excuse the bad perspective since this is a rough sketch jajaja tried to clean the lines and colored it for Jupiter.

I haven’t thought about those with tails … I think they would keep it still and low

-The shepherd moons of Saturn: Janus and Epimetheus swap orbital positions every four years or so and they manage to do is safely!

-The ridges around the moons Daphnis, Pan, and Atlas come from those moons repeatedly having the tiny specks from the rings fusing into their surfaces

-The moon Phoebe is a captured centaur. It's also the cause of around 20 moons of Saturn because of constant micrometeoroid impacts to its surface. Also, it used to be round, but it got hit by collisions, so it isn't anymore

-The moon Mimas is constantly being rocked by Saturn's gravity, and also it has an elongated core!

-Rhea has an atmosphere! It's just very very thin. Also, most icy moons that are closer to Saturn than Titan are 100 million years old.

-Io is the oldest Galilean, while Callisto is the youngest. The reason Callisto's surface is older is just because it has no geological activity whereas Io does.

-Tritons entire surface was reshaped by Neptunes gravity, and Neptune's the reason Triton's geologically active now!

-Enceladus is being actively squeezed by Saturns gravity which affects its geysers.

-The moon Himalia was nicknamed Hestia for a long time.

-Amalthea is the reddest object in the solar system!

While I was reading Zaira’s latest fic “Five Hundred Miles” it came into mind —when Saturn said ‘my star’— of how in Steven Universe the pearls would do the Diamond pose when addressing the Diamonds… How maybe planets do that too 🤔 it is an interesting idea to give them a specific hand gesture as a way to address the stars.

It would make sense on why Sol would be so uncomfortable being addressed that way. The planets were born with the knowledge of how to address their star once they’re a little older (imagine a toddler trying to do the star hand shape with their chubby fingers LOL) I tried doing it myself and it’s tiring to lee that shape for long or … maybe that’s carpal tunnel screaming at me to rest my wrists from drawing
