QUIETCORE:

What is quietcore?

Quietcore is a subgenre that focuses on peaceful silence and calmness. The outside world and our internal world can incredibly loud, so this aesthetic is designed to calm age regressors down.

It is centered around quiet activities such as library time, bedtime, bath time, etc. Anytime a sfw age regressor would like too quietly and calmly relax.

Is “x” quietcore?

If the activity is does not produce any noise and is relaxing, then it is quietcore.

Examples of quietcore things:

Star-gazing

Sleeping

Calming lullabies

Preparing to go to bed

Reading a children’s or baby’s book

Library time at school

Bath time (if you use bath time to relax and it’s calm and quiet)

♡ Use a soft voice

♡ Pease don’t shout at them

♡ Coaxing works better than ultimatums (offer a small candy if coaxing alone doesn’t work)

♡ Always have some band-aids on you (for boo-boos and “boo-boos”)

♡ Hug them often

♡ Hold their hand so they don’t wander off (they will wander off if you don’t)

♡ Only wash their comfort item while they sleep (that way they won’t be awake to miss it)

♡ Memorize their favorite foods/how they like certain foods cooked

♡ Love and cherish them with all your heart

🖍 I prefer a hardcover bound, plain page notebook. that way, I can decorate the outside and doodle on the inside without a bunch of lines!

🖍 I use tons of stickers in my journal, both on the cover and inside! You can find bulk stickers here. I usually decorate the outside with vinyl stickers from etsy or redbubble.

🖍 you can always look at your local dollar store, craft store, or office store for other supplies that you might like!

Pages 

🖍 basic journal entires are always fun! Document your smol line n thoughts

🖍 I save the tags and business cards of the things/places I by and tape them in, and list the stuff I’ve gotten from the place!

🖍 making lists of your favorite smol shoes, activities, etc. can be a great way to fill the journal and brainstorm!

🖍 don’t be afraid to fill the journal with things YOU love and YOUR ideas, everyone’s regression is their own and your journal should reflect that!
