Art post
Responding X's decision to put an edit image feature on its platform, which allowing its user to edit a picture posted there directly using an AI tools, many of its users, especially on the creative side, is very dissapointed.
The era of massive usage of generative AI already putting so many artist into a corner. Even, platforms like deviantart and artstation that supposed to be a place for artist, are not on the artist side. (AI and artist doesn't sit in the same page! It will never). We, artist, doesn't really have a place that's belong to us anymore.
I know, we know, everyone could scrap the artwork and putting it into AI, which previously could be prevented with glaze or nightshade. However, the new X update makes the modification much more easier, almost with no effort, and neither glaze or nightshade could protect it.
Rather than sad, I feel more upset. I don't think the existence of those generative AI is necessary at all. But people like trends and trends bring money. It looks good (of course because it's trained using any available artworks) and cheap (even free), so people like it. Sadly not everyone put much value to process, the reason an art is made, the effort, the words an artwork wanted to speak, etc. We were scrapped off of our humanity gradually.
As for the time I uploaded this, Tumblr doesn't have that kind of feature. I don't know will my artworks and writings ever reach anyone, anywhere. I tried so many platforms, I will try, and keep trying. So I decided to also post my artwork here on Tumblr. I could even write so many like this, this is good.
I will continue posting here. I draw original characters (one of them was the one in this post, also my profile picture), I also draw fanarts when I like it. I'm in many fandom, I can't mention everything. Just... It involves anime, k-pop, and books.
I'm like writing to a void but among things in the void are stars. And if you're reading, then you are, a star. 💫
See you again on the next post.
