There’s more than us four, they’re probably just…hiding out and chilling at home like I was. Ah, Mireille…I wonder if she’s still stoning birds in the park. Vampires. You’re just keeping tabs on everyone, aren’t you?

Nah, they’re either dead or gone. I mean, feel free to go check up on ‘em but don’t say I didn’t warn you. You know, I haven’t seen her around much... I think she saw that movie ‘Birdman’ and took it literally. I think she went after the guy or something. That, or the pelicans got her. Yeah, I have to. I’m the mayor, remember?

Oh. Four of us? Who are the other two? This place is a damn ghost town, I don’t even know why I stick around…

Stephen, Olivia, Chris... I think Anne was around for a while too but you know, she kicked the bucket; I think Mireille had a hand in that. It was a bummer, really, I was really looking forward to killing vampires together. I think Luke came around for a bit too... I think I kinda scared him away, though. And Lisa’s back as well!

A dream about being mayor? I’m pretty sure everyone would be dead if you were ever actually the mayor. I imagine you’d make them all play your weird kidnapping xmas game and dress as Santa. I guess so…I wouldn’t want a stick though.

Nah, that’s not a dream. It’s reality now. The dream was about the Hunger Games. Hey now, I’ve been the mayor for a while now and we’re all doing just fine. All four of us.

I don’t think it counts if you self-proclaim yourself as mayor. Shoving a–…why? Just…why.

... Well, I didn’t see anyone rising to the occasion, so.  I dunno, I had a dream about it once. You gotta use a stick efficiently, you know? Especially when you’re in the Hunger Games.

Really? I thought everyone moved out or something. Place’s been dead since I became the town’s mayor. Can’t say I blame them, though. The whole shoving-a-stick-on-your-neighbor’s-ass is kinda hard to adjust to.
