i think that they exist in abundance

and we’re just too oblivious to notice them. 

or perhaps we’re scared.

for the stars to align. 

or for this mysterious voice to wisper in our ears 

saying “now is the time”.

or we wait for a specific event to occur. 

we say things like “when vacation ends then i’ll talk to them” 

or “when i buy a notebook then i’ll start journaling” 

or “when my mom’s in a good mood that’s when i’ll tell her.”

well how about you call that person right now?

how about you open up your notes app and just start journaling right now?

or how about you see if your mom is available to talk right now?

the point is

the moment is perfect when we decide that it is.

or you know, not even “perfect”

screw that honestly.
