This had been the longest afternoon of her life, and she'd been relieved when it was over. There were so many people gathered together in that bar, to commemorate such a great presence in all of their lives. But it was nice to see him, it felt like they had only been playing phone tag the last couple of months, both of them too busy to have time to properly see each other. She could blame that for the hug, at least that's what she'd tell herself. It all seemed to happen quickly, it started with the hug and it somehow turned into a kiss that only seemed to graduate into something more. Maybe it was the fact that they had lost someone so incredibly special to them and the very real realization that it could happen more frequently. Or maybe it was the fact that despite everything, this was something that she'd wanted but had been scared to dare touch. The impulsivity had apparently given in considering that neither of them were pulling away from each other, although when she had to pull away from the kiss for oxygen, the way he seemed to look at her spoke volumes. The suggestion to go back to his place left her lips before she could stop herself, it was closer, and she'd told the sitter that she wasn't sure when she'd be back, meaning her place was off limits. The drive felt like it took forever, and a part of her was sure that the moment would have ended in that car, but it only seemed to have been paused because it resumed as soon as they opened the door, he was kissing her again, and she allowed herself to just focus on that, the feeling of his lips moving against her own, and the obvious pooling of other things happening in her body courtesy of him.
