I tried explaining to my cousin about the reasons why women sport matches dont sell very well and hes like "oh its just because its not good"

WRONG

Women's sports have NO FINANCIAL BACKING. NONE. They dont sell very well because they arent given the good slots on the telly. They arent given the good slots on the telly because the matches dont sell well. Its a viscious cycle but even more than that

Women cant make a living off of sports. Not in the same way men can. I dont just mean that they cant make jobs out of it, but women's clubs often have to fight and fundraise for things that the men's club gets handed to them. They have to raise money for gear, jerseys, coaching, celebrations if they win a league, pitch training slots etc. If your excuse for women "not playing as well" as men being a reason for them to not be as popular, then i have to ask about WHY this is the case and, majority of the time? Its because they DONT HAVE THE SAME RESOURCES BECAUSE THEIR CLUBS DONT FUND THEM.

I remember interviewing a woman for a school project and she said that the men's team didnt even get anywhere near winning their sporting league and they got a celebratory holiday. What happened to the women's team of the exact same sport that won the league?

Nothing. Got nothing. Had to go door to door to fund their own trip. Had to scrape together donations from family members for their kits, their jerseys, their equipment. Shit the men get handed to them.

Not even to mention how women are not welcome in sporting spaces. How women dont have the proper facilities when they go to these matches. Consistent scandals of women having to change BEHIND THEIR STADIUMS BECAUSE THERE ARENT WOMENS DRESSING ROOMS.

And you know that saying, "you get to tell people how to solve their problems to the degree you're willing to help"? It's like that. If you want to have a say in the way humans add their artistic mark to their environments - and they will - you need to fund people adding and maintaining beautiful art that other artists respect. Simple as that.

If Tim had turned out to be wrong I honestly believe he still would’ve gone looking for a way to bring Bruce back. Just like he did with Kon, Bart, Steph, Jack, and Janet.

Red Robin follows so clearly from Tim’s grief from losing Jack Drake and everyone else. DCU Halloween Special ‘09: “Our Father’s Sins” made this even more obvious by showing Red Robin Tim reflecting on his grief over Jack while he’s searching for Bruce.
