Every particle of earth, every droplet of water, even the tiniest atom… All of it was his. His alone.

Quiet knows there’s no turning back, so he pushes those thoughts out of his mind.
He gazes out at the vast ocean, where the sea in the distance seemed to merge with the sky in the twilight. Clouds that looked like pale pink cotton candy and the stars were fading from the sky, where what appeared to be a black hole adorned the atmosphere, making it even more enchanting.
He noticed that his mind was quieter than before.
No sound.
He began to wonder about his voices.
They had all disappeared, too. None remained by his side. Not even Hero, who had always been with him from the very beginning.
He felt sad about it. Even with all the arguments and fights, he still felt affection for them.
And they had suddenly vanished. Without even saying goodbye...
A noise snapped him out of his thoughts and caught his attention.
Turning his head, he looked for the source of the sound.
It was a small bird, black like him, chirping on a tree branch.
Quiet looked at that little bird and wondered: if his voices had bodies, would they be humanoid birds like him or just little birds?
A silly thought that made him laugh a little.
The little bird sang cheerfully on the branch before stopping and flying closer to him, landing on his head. He laughed at this.
Hello, little bird…
The little bird chirped, as if answering him, nestling on his head.
It reminded him of a certain someone who lived in his head…
The sun’s rays slowly appeared, marking the beginning of another day.
Well, dawn was breaking; he’d spent the sunset and the entire night here, and it was getting a bit boring to stay in this place, so he stood up, being careful not to let the little tenant on his head fall off.
I’m going to visit other places… I’m bored here. Do you want to come with me? It would be great to have some company…
The little bird chirped cheerfully, agreeing.

I think what my favorite game to play with ppl occasionally is be like “if you could instantly learn any 5 languages on top of what you know already, which languages would you pick” because for some people, it changes over time, especially if they’re younger or their tastes in media change frequently. For others, usually older people or those who tend to have more stagnant preferences, it generally stays the same, frequently associating directly to locations they’d want to visit later. (for example, one of my languages I’d pick is French, because I took 2 years of French classes and retained nothing except the difference between Bonjour and Bonsoir. My mom picked French because she wants to go to France)
So to test this theory, I’ve decided to come to tumblr and make a silly lil tag game. Basically, its just, include your age, and at this time, five languages you pick that you would learn instantly.
