I’ve been out of practice for a while and I’m starting to fear my design skills are slipping from me after a year of hiatus. Been trying to find ways to motivate myself to doing stuff again, but I’m always held back by the notion I’m just bad at doing everything.

So I might as well fail and keep trying again.

Today’s inspiration came from my mom’s eagerness to tell me everything she learned about perfume. Her teacher explained stuff about how everything is just a marketing ploy to get men and women to buy their products. The most high end perfumes use animal pheromones meant to attract the opposite sex. These pheromones come from the animal’s butt.

So I visualized a perfume that sold itself as it was:

Just wanted to get that out of my system.

Day 9 of Inktober. I did a pool shark... I felt like doing something more stylized and wanted to use the brush pen more.

My wrist doesn’t hurt as bad and I really took my time with this one. I didn’t erase pencil marks because applying that kind of pressure didn’t feel pleasant... I’m actually happy with how this one turned out!

Day 7 and 8 of Inktober. This weekend I was starting to experience pain in my right arm that radiated to my wrist. I noticed being in the cold aggravated it more than anything else. I kept things simple as a result.
