Not That Boleyn Girl

In undergrad I double majored in history and art history and I minored in Renaissance Studies.

In September I will be entering a masters program in Wales for medieval studies

I am using Duolingo to learn French, Welsh, Italian, and Norwegian

I work in my school's ancient collections room handling artifacts from ancient Rome (mostly)

interests and favorites

I love to travel and intend to do more of it in the future!

I am a huge museum nerd who'll go out of my way to stop at road side museums

My area of historical interest is the late medieval/early renaissance, and women's role in politics in this period

I collect music boxes, old pictures, and old dolls (all of which are only probably haunted)

My favorite tv shows include Buffy, Criminal Minds, Lockwood and Co, Bones, and Stranger Things

Caffeine Addict! I love coffee, my favorite tea is Earl Grey, and I like diet Dr Pepper or Diet Coke

My favorite podcasts are Noble Blood by Dana Schwartz, This is History by Dan Jones, and The Art of History by Amanda Matta

My blog name is a little bit of an inside joke with myself; I go by the name Anne and according to my grandmother I'm related to one of the men on the jury in the trial of Anne Boleyn! So I'm not Anne Boleyn, I'm just Anne.
