So huh... I have something to think about the new chapter.

We know that the Wendigo is after Lenore, initially we think that he smells Lenore, but apparently, no, he smells specifically her blood.

And in this scene we have confirmation of this, Only on their hands is Lenore's scent, as that is where her blood came into contact with them because of the oath they made in chapter 103, If it was just Lenore's scent itself, the Wendigo would smell her all over their bodies, especially Duke who slept leaning against her.

And the Wendigo is probably smelling Lenore's curse, which runs through her veins, so when she cut her own hand and shook her friends', her blood mixed with theirs,mainly in the bandages they are using, so we already know that the Wendigo only knows Lenore's positioning because she is injured.

In the most recent chapter,We see the Wendigo chasing Pluto, but when he is about to attack, the Duke appears to distract him, and apparently the Duke already has a theory that the Wendigo smells blood, because he says

"So if it's blood you are after... Then I'm happy to oblige"

And the Wendigo lets go of Pluto as Duke takes off the bandages, leaving the blood exposed, possibly increasing the exposure of Lenore's blood scent. That's why the Wendigo goes after him, he chases blood, so he probably doesn't know what Lenore looks like either, he just looks for the blood scent and he will attack anyone who has the scent.

Now I can finally get to the point I want.

Why does Annabel's ring have a scent? Because even if the Wendigo could smell Lenore in general, it still wouldn't make sense since Lenore never touched the ring, However, we know that the items they have there come from when they were alive, which makes me think that Lenore made the same blood oath with Annabel, and at the moment of the oath, Annabel was wearing her ring.

And because Annabel trusts Lenore so blindly, it makes me think that Lenore has done much bigger crazy things than we know so far, this includes perhaps a possible pact?
