Ashley Before Avery was Born, 2014 I've been making work about my family, but also busy with life stuff. I don't really know where the work is going anymore. Maybe I will post more of it sometime.

The opening reception is tonight from 7–9. The show will be up until March 6.

Houses of the Holy (2013-????) I've been thinking about abandoned projects. A year ago, while working on a project about my family, I started photographing all of the churches in Lee County, South Carolina, where my father was born. There are 19,220 people in Lee County, and about 99 houses of worship. That's approximately 1 for every 194 people. I only made it to 20-something of them. I don't know if I'll ever pick it up again, but if I do I hope to with a title that is not a Led Zeppelin reference.

I am making new work. I'm just not showing it to anyone.
