This book is dark….this book leaves you with questions. As someone who likes resolution in a novel godammit I wanna know WHAT WENT DOWN. But it’s a good story and concept executed very well .
I pulled this one off the shelf. It appears I am alone in not liking this book. It’s insanely well reviewed. 4.5 on Goodreads. What!? It’s an interesting format but that’s precisely what bothered me. I wanted more finished stories! 2 stars

Five stars. What a good story. The entire novel is a character study in two woman and their intense relationship (a housekeeper and up and coming writer). I will be shouting about this book for days and weeks

This book is quite incredible. Nonfiction that reads like fiction which is my kind of nonfiction.
I watched the show and this book was still completely riveting and covered so much more ground. The level of fuckery. Prepare to be enraged and w/ renewed skepticism of the pharmaceutical industry and its governing bodies.
why can i not stop listening to this song? and really anything synth heavy these days... stuck on repeat after hearing it (and n-trance 'set you free') in that coke fueled bender scene from Industry <3
also me: was sneaker pimps 'becoming X' one of the best albums of the 90s? i guess the critics dont agree with me on that one but there is only 1 skip song. i guess i never gave them a second thought after that album....

Miranda July be Miranda July-ing in this book. Strange, weird, fascinating, a little too much…a little confusing. I didn’t get the epilogue reference. But she had me turning this pages and can’t say I disliked it

Wow this work is stunning
enjoyable format and story. a look into fucked up lifestyles of trustfund-havers. nothing amazing though. quite obvious that this is the same writer of 'fleishman is in trouble' (i watched that show with a bit of disdain). sorry for the lackluster review.
radiohead does it again on top. electronica as genre #1 was a first (classical made it into the #4 genre). BANKS is on there because i somehow played one of her song 146 times in testing the unmapped video launch.

fka twigs - striptease (hard to pick a song...honestly im still trying to make sense of all the content she released towards the end of year)

jamie xx, erykah badu - FU (its noted above but i cant get 'put your hands on your dick, hold it real tight' out of my head)

Acadia national park surpassed my expectations! The hikes were super fun given lots of scrambling and the mix of forest and ocean views was stunning. We really loved the precipice trail - it delivered on the hype - and our pretty intense six summit hike (the last part w/ Penobscot summit and the Triad moss/pine forest were the best).
All of the bright red bushes were wild blueberries!
Marlon’s high school friend, Chris Sweeney, wrote this book and it was presented to me as a gift. It was very good! To be non fiction and to hold my attn on a subject that I had never previously considered is a feat. Roxie was a super driven and unique woman. It’s a story worth telling and hearing.
