Her mother, a victim of rape, died shortly after giving birth. The elderly midwife who assisted in the birth chose to take the newborn in and care for her. Raising the child as her granddaughter, she taught her all she knew about medicine and caring for sick and injured. After the old woman dies when Cree is only 10, she is forced to live on her own. She spends the first year in the makeshift hospital her grandmother had ran for years, however with her gone it quickly falls apart and within a year it is abandoned and Cree is on the streets alone. She meets a wounded Levi and helps him. She then decides to continue working to help others. She takes in other children and they stay in the old hospital. For 3 years Cree survives and continues to help other unfortunate children in the underground. One day the repercussions of one of Levi's jobs with Furlan and Isabel results in an attack on the old hospital by some thugs. Cree is injured and 2 other children are killed. Isabel finds her and Levi and Furlan rush to help. Levi takes care of Cree and love slowly blossoms over the next 7 years. But what will happen when Levi takes the job offer to take down Erwin Smith? How will Creedence follow him? Will she follow him at all? Or stay behind and wait for him to return for her?
