Will the game…just try to forget that a gift was given at all?

Will we walk into Ralsei’s room and have a dialogue about the gift we gave him, even if we gave the gift to someone else? (causing untold confusion for people unaware of the bug)

Will Ralsei ask something like, “Hey, remember who you gave that gift to…?” to reset the flag?

Is it actually Intentional and Meta and Deep Lore and Gaster/Chara made the flag change happen because they love Ralsei more, or want us to??? (Ralsei would never change the flag himself; he adores Susie and wouldn’t deprive her of a gift)

it's because they beleive they can save everyone,

or that they beleive in you,

or they're realizing their fate,

or they're scared.

so when chara smiles at you at the end of no mercy, accusing you of what you've gone and presenting you with the consequences,
