It's really really deeply evil how much labour people can force out of trans women by convincing us we need to atone for some "male socialisation" or something.

Trans woman: "We are oppressed in unique ways. We have created an intersectional framework to define, describe, and explore the unique axis of oppression trans women and black trans women face: Transmisogyny and transmisogynoir."

Someone made a post about how a trans man they knew was incredibly transmisogynistic, proceeded to imply that this was behavior that ALL trans men uphold and support and proceeded to put this shit in the tags

now what is the intended message when sending me an lolcow link. a link to a thread that is some of the most nakedly vile transmisogynist shit ABOUT a bunch of dolls on here, dolls that I follow and highly respect? I thought maybe I'd be mentioned somewhere in the thread but nope, although I did not read the entire thing for obvious reasons. I think it's a good indication that blocking literally thousands of blogs on here is working to keep me hidden from these actual demons.

The thing about the "trans women are capable of harm" type posts and blogs like transmascvoicesproject is that on a daily basis trans women are told that we are predators, that we are violent, that we have the rape organ, that we solely exist for fetishistic reasons and that makes us dangerous to be around. Society never lets us forget this. Cinema never lets us forget this. Terfs never let us forget this. Political parties on either side of the spectrum never let us forget this. These people post like they live in a world where trans women/transfeminine people are shielded from the consequences of our actions by our identities, but that's a fantasy. We are not only held accountable for our actions, but responses to our mistakes and transgressions are often extremely worse than that of other people. Not to mention, a lot of trans women are lied about, marked rapist/pedophile/abusive by an abusive, transphobic ex, and then isolated and removed from friends groups for the crime of coming out as trans. This is so, so, so common.
