yeah i hate faith so much. imagine the scene with xander with roles reversed. it makes me soo sick, she basically raped him. and then the second time she almost did it again in the more literal sense. and she would've choked him to death if angel didn't come

the concept of charlie kirk perceiving daenerys makes me sick

i'm only finishing season 2 but xander is so overhated imo. he has his moments that suck but overall he's not the monster yall make him out to be, just an insecure teenager. at least he's funny and fun to watch, which you can't say about all characters (cough, angel, cough)

the new frankenstein missed the point of the book i fear..
made the monster a sweet innocent angel when in the book you can have sympathy for him and you should but also ?? he is a child murderer?? just because the child was afraid of him?? because he looks objectively scary??
i think the book comments on the entitlement men feel. the monster felt entitled to having a woman/friend/anyone. it's just that the book has so many layers and here only one layer is explored and in a very disney story way. the cringe i felt seeing victor's brother tell him that he is the real monster cannot be replicated. the ending is so ridiculous!!!
also why was victor's brother aged up? just so elizabeth can be an object of desire for one more male character? they lowkey made it so that a lot of victor's resentment is due to elizabeth's connection with the monster and that's just so... stupid and unnecessary. her character was so flat that they just should've kept the flat book version.
all that and the aesthetic wasn't even that good.. why couldn't they keep it gothic without all the machines in the creation? ughh
it's very one dimensional obvious movie that force feeds the point to its audience, considering it too stupid to understand otherwise, thus taking away all the nuance.
