The front door opens directly into the living room with the beautiful original stairs facing the door (Yeah, I know, bad Feng Shui, but what can you do? A lot of our houses don't have it.)

Details of the column by the stairs. You can tell by the patina that it's original.

This house has wood walls and my love of stick walls doesn't seem to cross over into the diamond pattern. I still prefer the plain stick walls.

Look at the detail on the fireplace. I think that it's an added piece, b/c the fireplace looks newer, like they redid it.

Look at that built-in cabinetry in the dining room, and the stick wainscoting. Love the wallpaper, too.
