ok he did also said that if it wasnt acid reflux then it was probably asthma because "thats the only thing inhalers are used for" but thats a little baffling since the inhaler was given to me to help ease the cough. like it seems recursive

unfortunately the doctors who most make you want to cry while they talk to you are also usually the ones who seem least likely to take you seriously if you do start crying

he said the cough was probably from acid reflux (did not explain why it suddenly started happening consistently and badly 2 weeks ago when acid reflux has been a problem in my life for like years at this point) & suggested i go on a restricted diet for a couple weeks to see if that fixes it. still trying to decide whether i think he suggested a restricted diet instead of a course of omeprazole or something bc im fat

the ent guy said that i don't have a mold allergy and that there's nothing wrong with my throat or sinuses which is all well and good but what am i supposed to do about this cough. do i just live on cough suppressants and an inhaler forever now
