you are allowed to be angry. there's a difference between "hating the show" and "loving the show and hating the ending". obviously, don't hate the cast/people involved in creating GO3, but you are very much allowed to feel angry at the ending and you absolutely should not feel guilty about it. if you truly hated the show in its entirety, you wouldn't be posting/lurking here.

i could go on and on and on about how the show spent 12 hours carefully creating a very interesting moral and very nuanced characters and then deliberately went against all that. that's not hating the show, that's hating the ending.

i could ignore that go3 happened entirely and just headcanon what happened. that's not hating the show, that's hating the ending.

the difference in what is "acceptable hate" vs what isn't is what you do with it. again, you absolutely shouldn't hate the cast or hate on people who enjoy the ending. but if you take the anger and use it as motivation to draw or write, then hell yeah! be angrier! take your anger and do something productive/artistic with it, and everyone benefits, and this fandom stays alive.

the most important thing to remember, i think, is that neither hating the ending nor loving the ending are a requirement to loving GO as a whole and being in the fandom.
