Cats!! So many all over Greece but many sweet and talkative ones here in Nafplio. The girls decided to stow their leftover lunch in napkins to feed the kitties during our afternoon walk. Spent the afternoon with pediatric cardiologists, neurologists, psychologists, anesthesiologists, surgeons, quality of life outcomes specialists, nurses and parent and patient advocates all gathered to identify research gaps in our understanding of neurodevelopmental outcomes in babies born with heart defects. We powered through the afternoon in small groups synthesizing preliminary work we’d completed over the past three months. More to come tomorrow when we regroup to present our summary points.
