Concerning dance en pointe, Iād like to write a short rant because I keep seeing pictures of girls (and I mean young girls) or inexperienced people posing in pointe shoes. Please do not support something like this! Itās unhealthy and dangerous!

You know, all of this sounds like a fairytale to me. I did ballet for several years in childhood and we started pointe routines on the third year (which was 9 years old for me but 8 for other girls, because I missed one year). And we had a Mariinsky ballet-dancer teaching us, so you canāt actually say she lacks knowledge or expirience... Not that Iām in any way for inexpirienced people doing pointes, but I guess Russian ballet traditions are more harsh.
The problem with being a trained singer is that while other people can sing in the shower and sound awful and have a good time, if my voice cracks I start screaming in frustration.
I was never able to sing in the shower, because my brother is a prof musical actor and compairing to his kickass singing Iāve always sounded like a douche Ā :(
Now that I live alone, I tried shower-singing, only to sound like a douche to myself...

My experiences with forums were not the best in the past tbh.

I'ts been almost 5 years since Iāve uploaded something, so it kind of feels uneasy to post thiss haha. But I really, really wanted to share this. Iām glad Yuri on ice has been my trigger to loving ice skating, or should I say to watch other categories apart from ice dance (which I already was into haha). Iām very thankful to be now part of the ice skating fandom, and I canāt wait to one day go to a world championships to support my favourites! Iāve become and enourmous fan of latvian skater Deniss Vasiljevs, or should I say that I was mesmerized by his skating. To say that I like him even more than Plushenko, is a real proof of my admiration haha I canāt wait to see this skater grow and become on of the top skaters of his generation, and look forward to the day Iāll be able to stand next to the rink heās going to skate on. For now, Iāll just enjoy drawing him Yuri style (somehow) haha

AND JUST TO MAKE MYSELF CLEAR BC I REALLY DONT WANT TO START A DISCOURSE, i absolutely love yuzuru hanyuās skating. i think heās incredible, his PCS is incredible and heās a phenomenal jumper. But I also think the majority of the men in figure skating are pretty damn good. My stance is that itās a different sport today than is was a few years ago. but my bigger point is that itās just nasty for some fans to have to shit talk other skaters in order to make their fav look good. and itās not just yuzuru fans who do it but thatās where i see the vast majority of it happening. if anything, you should want every skater to be in top shape, that makes it more fun to watch.
you should never hope for a skaters failure. you should never mock another skater for doing something that i sure as hell cant do and you probably canāt do either. itās supposed to be fun and itās supposed to be artistic and itās supposed to be beautiful. thereās no beauty in dragging another skater down.
