I swear it is a orange cat thing he’s silly too

This summer alone he has:

Stolen 3 eggs from some random bird nest

Bit my penguin pencil case (made of silicone so the bitemarks are forever)

Gotten lost on the field and screamed until we found him

Climbed up a tree while my brother and my father was up on it with motor saws to cut down dead branches (he saw the other boys having fun and wanted to join I suppose)

Managed to steal a lick of chocolate ice cream and strawberry yogurt FROM MY BOWL WHILE I AM EATING IT

Broken my toothbrush??

Has to be in the shower while I am but gets mad when water touches him??

Almost jumped up on the grill while we were cooking because it smelled like meat

I suppose being old fashioned does being some views, HOWEVER they’re more like ”I wish everyone dressed proper again, I’m tired of seeing sweatpants at the supermarket” or ”would be nice if everyone could be polite like they did before” or ”I wish screens and social media wasn’t as normal and that people actually talked in real life now” not extrem views that can be associated with it now

for me, being “conservative” is about political view, which is yk… homo- transphobic, racist, misogynistic etc.

i later on checked out his works for the sake of checking everything you’ve got and now he’s my favourite character, but the wording of his short intro/description is yikes

no hate tho, blue!!! love your works, but the “conservative” did strike me at the time too

ohhh lmao no omg sorry i have always interpreted "conservative" as just old fashioned in a more personality-way (at least in sweden i have heard it more spoken about personality than politics which we call "gammalmodig", even though it's starting to be more talked in political terms lately) i totally forgot that it also means that to more people first hand!

Edmund hates when darling is upset, so I think he would apologize by solving the problem. Maybe getting darling a little cottage on one of his lands where she can live it out safely. Still where he can keep an eye out, always in control, just bending his control just slightly to keep everyone satisfied. But most importantly, away from everyone’s eyes, because in the end of the day darling is his queen.

Conservative as an ideology is probably the wrong use of the word, I mean that he’s old fashioned! When I made Kry I liked that he felt a bit taken out of an Astrid Lindgren story. He acts like a typical 1900-something person in the way that you stay reserved and don’t show too much emotions or say too much, he likes old architecture (lives in a house from 1900s), rather does things like gardening and reading books over technological things like play video games. He loves Swedish ”husmanskost” which people have been eating for generations, love old music and generally acts like an old man. He prefers the old typical slow life over modern life where everything has to go quickly.

And I think that Jerry’s darling could have so much fun crocheting when Jerry’s not home and when she does come home there’s a new stuffed animal sitting on the sofa armrest and darling stares saying ”we need to get more yarn asap, he does not have a second leg”

I do feel like Dr Kry’s darling would enjoy it too? I know that he would encourage it at least😵‍💫 ”it’s good for your coordination, to stay clear in the head and to keep you busy without risk of harming yourself. Don’t do anything stupid with the crochet hook just to prove me wrong please”

So far it's work in progress of Edmund, extremely loose sketch so excuse his hair and anything else that hasn't been fixed. I've been looking through everything on what the characters look like so hopefully it's not toooo off.
