Some ramble about LoTM. There maybe spoiler. Also, my biggest Klein ship is Amon x Klein so beware, I guess *shrugs*
Man, the novel is so good. Though I have to admit, I started reading it months ago, but I couldn't make it past chapter 10. Then recently, when the donghua was released, I was like, sure, I'd watch the donghua then read the novel. But I wasn't patient enough to wait for the donghua to come out fully so yeah, I started reading the novel again.
This time I just read it slowly at my pace, before bed and before I knew it, I was hooked lol...
When I got to the "We saved Tingen" part, man, I was crying so hard. It has been a looooooooong time since I last cried, hiccupping like that, I was a mess lol.
At that time, I knew nothing about Klein's future or his upcoming hardships, but I already missed Tingen. There would no long be a capable and reliable captain for Klein to lean on anymore. No longer he could just relax and live peacefully... He was completely on his own. Every time he remembered Tingen, I got misty eyes... Sure he had the Tarot club and Mr. Azik, but I just felt like he never really opened his heart to anyone. The closest I can think of is his letters to the sleeping Azik. I think this is also why the watching and reacting fics (where everyone he cares for finally get to know him） are so popular haha.
Alright, now about the shipping...
I'm the kind that can eat allKlein, KleinAll, Klein with his other personas, etc., but my most like ship is with Amon.
Asides from their interesting dynamic and how good Amon is as an antagonist, I just enjoy their wit battles lol. And asides from the ASG, Evernight mommy, to me, Amon is the closest to Klein in term of power after Klein became Lord of The Mysteries. I mean, sure, he got demoted but he is still overpowered af, his abilities in book 2 are just insane for someone who is not King of Angels (I haven't read book 2 but I have seen all the spoiler lol). I just enjoy the tension between them haha. I just think they match up better in term of power.
Not to mention their fanfictions (I'm sorry I'm corrupted by the MToD...), just absolutely cinema....
Other than shipping, I really enjoy how Klein acted around other characters in his other personas. The trio Gehrman, Danitz and Anderson is just too funny to not like lol. I also like fics where Klein's other personas came to life as Mr. Fool's blessed, just chaotic fun lol.

Recently I picked up this game because the mc design was my type. And the story of travelling between alternative worlds is kind of interesting.
What keep me invested in the game, is, however, the story of MC, their (we can choose mc's gender) little sister and their gay dads *coughs. Ah, found family, my favorite trope.... Just look at this "memory trace" called Stay close from the game (MC is the little black hair kiddo)
