عندما ترى الحياة من منظور أنّها "عابرة" وتُجرّدها من فكرة الديمومة، ستنظر إليها بشكلٍ مُختلف، ستأخذ الأمور بمنتهى البساطة، وتتجاوز كثيرًا، وتخلق العُذر دائمًا، ولا تقف طويلاً على السفاسِف، ستتعجّب من تشبُّث الناس بالأشياء، وركضهم خلف السراب، ومعاركهم الهامشيّة.

و أما الحسين بن علي فإنه لم يجلس باكياً نادباً مصير أمة جده، بلّ خرج في طلب الإصلاح ما استطاع، فالحسين لم يخرج باغياً طاغياً ولم يجلس متفرجاً على فساد عصره بل حاول جهده أن يرشدَ النّاس وأن يهديهم الطريق الصواب ولو كان على دمه.

وأما نحن الآن فقد نسينا كلّ دروس كربلاء إلاّ اللطم والبكاء والعويل على مصير الحسين، نسينا وتجاهلنا تماماً ما أراده الحسين منا أن نكون مصلحين للأمة بالحق مهما كان الثمن.
