It’s easy to speak out against someone when you know absolutely nothing will happen to you for speaking out.

Look I know this will be a sensitive subject for people but, 25 to 30 million dollars to tear down and rebuild a school! Remodel it, make improvements to it he’ll sell it and build a new building somewhere else, but spending 30 plus million dollars because of this tragedy is to me another win for the little murderous bastard! Use that money for improvements to security for the WHOLE state! Use it to facilitate more security officers or police! Scraping a multimillion dollar building because of a tragedy is in itself another tragedy. How about converting it into a homeless shelter or a facility for abused women and children. It could be converted into a trade school for those in need of jobs done with money from businesses in the state. How about anything that improves the lives of Americans while also not wasting 30 plus million dollars!

If you’re a Christian who exploits people, leads a double life or manages a “dirty” business, perhaps it’s better not to call yourself a believer, Pope Francis suggested in a homily on Thursday in Rome.

“So many Christians are like this, and these people scandalize others,” Francis said during morning Mass at Casa Santa Marta, according to Vatican Radio. “How many times have we heard – all of us, around the neighborhood and elsewhere – ‘But to be a Catholic like that, it’s better to be an atheist.’ It is that: scandal.”

And it continues on from there. Pope Francis was preaching on Mark 9:41-50, which is the bit where Jesus says stuff like “whoever causes on of these little ones to sin, it would be better if he put a millstone around his neck and threw it in the sea.” The pope’s homily (in what is a textbook definition of a homily) took Jesus’ words from the Bible and faithfully applied them to modern life. This homily couldn’t even be potentially interpreted as a departure from long-standing Catholic teaching, either. He practically read straight from the Catholic Catechism.

Pope seems to have made a good God Damn Point.

You claimed people might be offended by a Pope who expects better of Gods Children.

2)There is no increase in homelessness. Homelessness has been on a steady decrease for decades. Only a fraction of a percent of Americans are homeless.

3)There is no increase in child poverty in American citizens. Americans have one of the highest standards of living in the world. Over half of all Americans rate globally in the “high-income” group. And most of America’s “poor” are actually globally rated as upper-middle income.

2)There is overall decrease in homelessness / Only a fraction of a percent of US citizens are homeless. Approx 500,000 to 600,000 US citizens are homeless which clocks in at about 0.5% of the population. (Also check out how all the states with the highest percentages of homeless are blue states. What a weird coincidence)

3)There is no increase in child poverty with American citizens. In fact, it has fallen to a “historic low”. Over half of all Americans rate as high-income globally, and the vast majority of our “poor” rate as upper-middle-income globally.

Would most Americans have a problem with this, though?

Not to mention that sweet healthcare and education deal!

Men Receive 63% Longer Prison Sentences Than Women Who Commit the Same Crimes

In case you don’t know what the words you are using actually mean, you asked for forms of discrimination in which entire institutions (government organizations, for example) discriminate against men on the basis that they are men.

I gave you 3 examples of that. Feel free to address them, because I’m about to address yours. Simply saying they “aren’t discrimination” isn’t addressing them, because that’s wrong. They ARE discrimination. Very blatantly so.

Wage Gap

“There are observable differences in the attributes of men and women that account for most of the wage gap. Statistical analysis that includes those variables has produced results that collectively account for between 65.1 and 76.4 percent of a raw gender wage gap of 20.4 percent, and thereby leave an adjusted gender wage gap that is between 4.8 and 7.1 percent. A greater percentage of women than men tend to work part-time. Part-time work tends to pay less than full-time work. 

A greater percentage of women than men tend to leave the labor force for child birth, child care and elder care. Some of the wage gap is explained by the percentage of women who were not in the labor force during previous years, the age of women, and the number of children in the home. 

Women, especially working mothers, tend to value “family friendly” workplace policies more than men. Some of the wage gap is explained by industry and occupation, particularly, the percentage of women who work in the industry and occupation.

Specifically, CONSAD’s model and much of the literature, including the Bureau of Labor Statistics Highlights of Women’s Earnings, focus on  wages rather than total compensation. The time a rapist served may be less than the sentence imposed by the courts but nonetheless it is still contrary to the idea that 97% of all rapists do not serve one day in jail, as seen here:

And while it can be argued that punishments for rape are not harsh enough, there are virtually no punishments for false accusers who ruin lives and as previously mentioned above are responsible for innocent men being sexually assaulted on a constant basis in prison. For vindictive women there is only reward. Therefore, what is the deterrent if false accusers are rarely punished?

What’s most interesting though is that mainstream media doesn’t even mention female shooters when they claim to show the history of the crime — but I guess they’re going by high scores. While its true that most shooting sprees are committed by males, it is also true that most child abuse, neglect, and murders are committed by females.

This is only mid-year and I didn’t even include the reports of mothers killing their children from previous years or other countries.

In the end this is the truth: both genders commit crimes, some types more than others but violence is a human issue and not a gender issue. If you look into the reports of all of these school shootings for example you’ll start to notice that mental health disorders and illnesses are a common theme among others like poor living conditions and/or a history of abuse but are dismissed for a simplistic, apathetic excuse like “misogyny” or “man equal violent”. What a coincidence that the mental health and victimization of males is not in the slightest taken seriously in this country until they act out and hurt someone, especially if that someone is a woman. But even then it becomes a crusade to maximize punishment rather than to understand what made this individual behave in a negative way. If males make up over 90% of the prison population and if the prison industrial complex is any indication of what harsh punishment does to men, wouldn’t it make sense to take their issues a little more fucking seriously than to just dismiss them outright based on your personal baggage or your political agenda?

The Truth About Hoover & FDR

Many people believe that FDR saved us from capitalism, which was destroying itself, and from the Hoover administration which was prior to his, because it was so laissez faire and “hands off.”  It’s a big lie.

Not only was Herbert Hoover not laissez faire, he intervened like no President had done before.  Even FDR admitted, “we didn’t admit it at the time, but practically the whole New Deal was extrapolated from programs that Hoover started.”

He did not learn the lesson of something he should have learned because he was very much involved with politics at the time, and that was the depression of 1921 after World War I.  Back then, even though it was the first depression that came after the Fed was organized, they still had an attitude of “hands off.”  So, the depression was bad but only lasted a short time. But when the [Great] Depression hit, Hoover came in and he was a super interventionist. 

I recently stumbled upon a way to nudge anti-Trump zombies off the idea that 97% of climate scientists agree with each other and Trump is on the wrong side. I’m not arguing about the accuracy of the estimate because I have nothing to compare it to. I’m only concerned that people are trusting the fate of the planet to that estimate without knowing how it was derived.
