     “ Felix. “

He’s surprised to see the other out so late && Caspar is more spooked than anything. He looks mad for some reason, which the rather inebriated male isn’t too keen on dealing with at these late hours into the night. He sighs, grip tightening around the neck of the glass bottle he’d been carrying back to this room. He steels himself, for something, anything, perhaps a string of concerned words or a declaration to spar. 

He wasn’t in any condition or mood for either. 

     “ I was just on my way back to my room.     Get some sleep, we have a big day tomorrow    yooou know. “

She lets her hand sit for a second before finally taking it back, the small smile still present upon hearing the expected answer. Though a part of her does wish he’d stop, still, there’s another part that’s glad to have something … familiar.                  “As long as you pick well.” His words actually remind her of something else he said before, actually, and that teasing edge has made a bit of a return.                                “Have you gotten strong enough to defeat me?” 

     “ You know professor I always thought I was    stronger than you! “

He proudly says, though after a moment his expression drops to one that’s more serious. Caspar fidgeted slightly, hand going to grasp at his hip as he threw his head back a bit.

      “ That’s okay, I do too you know, heh. “

He tries to laugh off his own banter but a worried look appears on his features as he goes up to scratch his head. After a moment however he manages to give Marianne a nice smile && sit down next to her.

      “ I’ll be fine. “

He struggles, in reality, to come to a stand && used the handle of his axe as a pole to help himself up. That punch from the enemy brawler had almost knocked him out cold, but he’d been hit harder than that in the past. Though Caspar wasn’t going to admit he was almost at his limit.
