Crazy to think that I was the same exact weight 10 years ago but in severely worse health (mentally, physically and spiritually). 2010▶️2015▶️2020. I’m not nearly as lean as I was back in 2015 but then again I’m also not spending 4-5 hours working out every single day. (Fastest cardio, teaching classes, training clients, Ruck run, MARSOC Prep, and competition prep) Ultimately I’m happy with where I am now and where my direction is headed. Notice I said happy and not “satisfied” or “finished” Your health isn’t one single goal weight, body fat %, or PR. It is a never ending lifestyle journey. Remember that next time you get hard on yourself for not hitting a goal weight or not reaching a PR. Winners aren’t made overnight. It takes all the failures and stumbles and falls to reach that one significant success. No one ever entered Mr. Olympia or the Olympics after one night of training or stopping after one missed lift or check in. You will always be your hardest and most honest critic. To end with one of my favorite @wecameasromans lyrics “I always knew I'd never reach perfection, and if I ever did then I wasn't trying hard enough. Because there is always something more to reach for.” #fit #fitness #defendpoppunk (at New Jersey) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9S7C5kHQBa/?igshid=18xbyik37gaqa
