THIS GIRL LIES TO EVERYONE WITHOUT SHAME AND IT’S LITTERALLY THE FIRST THING SHE DOES WHEN SHE’S FIRST INTRODUCED. UNDERNEATH THAT THIN LAYER OF MATURITY SHE IS EXACTLY LIKE LITTLE MY. IF NOT MORE UNHINGHED
And yes you could say ”she was a child back then of course she wasn’t mature” and I can agree BUT THAT DOESN’T CHANGE ANYTHING. Because in my opinion she’s just as unhinghed when we meet her again
In the anime she’s soft spoken and caring with a big heart which is sweet but if book Mymble jr found me with a broken leg I can guarantee that she would give me a few hits on the back and tell me to walk it off (Bc that’s most definitely what she had to do when she was younger) she is very much oldest sibling burnout
She talks shit about everyone with everyone and doesn’t even care she’s a little shit who would gladly shove little My into a box if she wasn’t getting paid for babysitting her.
In moominvalley in november she comes back to the moominhouse to take care of little My again and when she finds out that she’s traveled away with the moominfamily she’s just like ”Oh well” AND GOES DIRECTLY FOR THEIR LIQUOR CABINET
So in conclusion what I’m saying is that anime Mymble jr would drink tea on a calm sunday morning while book Mymble jr would unapologetically chug a whole bottle of perfume on a tuesday night
