So, about the energy this New Years Eve. I’ve read different posts about where and how the moon will be and the day of the week NY’s day will fall... and how the recommendation is to focus on everything we want to let go of 2018 rather than focusing on what we want. 🤔 I got it. But I’ll speak for myself... Rather than naming or focusing on all the things and people I want/choose to leave behind, it resonates more with me to simply affirm (and feel) - ‘I’m open to let go of anything and anyone who is no longer aligned with my higher self. I accept, I honour and bow to you. And I’m ready to let you go. Overcoming fear can be as simple as jumping in the cold ocean. Nearly 9 years in Australia and I still find the ocean water so cold and quite hard to get in. But I did it!!! Agradeci e falei “isso é zero a minha cara”. Primeiro que eu não curto esses challenges de Instagram, e mais importante que isso sou uma defensora de cada mulher respeitar seu corpo, suas formas, seu tempo. Eu tenho uma alimentação saudável e uma vida ativa apesar de meu único exercício corporal ser yoga, devo a isso o elogio que a pessoa me deu. Posso fazer um programa online de pós parto para ajudar mães que querem praticar mas não tem como deixarem os bebês e querem praticar em casa? Posso e quero. Mas isso é totalmente diferente de incentivar desafios e padrões corporais. A prática de yoga é para movimentar sua energia e te dar autoconhecimento. Um corpo esculpido é uma consequência secundária. Muito bem vinda mas secundária. Mães, aceitem suas barrigas pós parto que colocaram um novo ser no mundo. Você pode e deve cuidar do seu templo através da alimentação e de movimentar seu corpo, mas nunca com uma pressão de dias, meses ou sacrificando sua produção de leite (caso amamente) por causa de uma forma. O puerpério já é tão desafiador por si só, com peito rachado, com solidão de ficar em casa para muitas mulheres, com cólicas do bebê, com a novidade de ter um novo ser que depende 100% de você que lançar um desafio voltado ao corpo seria menos a minha cara impossível.
