The girls, are, unsurprisingly, mostly blemish free...though Aerith had some facial markings on close inspection.

My favorite, however, is Sephiroth’s cute little lip freckle, which I only discovered after obsessively rewatching clips of the remake on Youtube. It’s not just an artifact of video compression; play the game, and you can spot it as well. It’s also present in multiple videos. Adding contrast to pictures makes it more apparent, as it’s pretty pale, and sometimes hard to spot.

Tbh, I just think it’s cute.

He, like Cloud, has a bunch of other distinct markings as well.

Under his eyes also seems a bit darker than most of the other characters’. Boy don’t sleep.
