I just got home from visiting my family in America!! It was good fun!
The journey back was pretty hectic though - for starters, I should have been home yesterday but delays meant that I couldn't catch my connecting flight. So I rearranged for a couple of flights for the following evening (with no charge, luckily). The flight from Indianapolis to Washington Dulles was okay, I guess. Nobody on the plane said please or thank you and there was one dude who didn't know how Venn diagrams worked but it was okay I guess.
The real fun began at Dulles though!! I saw that I hadn't been allocated a seat, so I was in line at the front desk to try and get one sorted, and I was kinda pressed for time. Luckily I did get allocated a seat - 21C - and I thought everything was sorted. However, I went on the plane and saw someone was sitting in my seat. Oh. Luckily the man sitting there was SUCH A GENEROUS SOUL and he allowed me to take the free seat in business class!! I was honestly just... speechless. I really didn't deserve this at all. I really aspire to be as kind and selfless as him when I'm older.
And I know that guy can't even read this BUT THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU AAAAAAAAAAA

22:41 - they handed me hot towels??? What do I even do with these? Am I some sort of princess???
22:46 - THESE PULLS OUT TABLES WOW. Super hi-tech!!

22:57 - they brought out some nuts.
23:02 - and then they offered me more with this cute little shovel tray thing omg!
23:07 - I don't know what these little crescent-shaped ones are called bu they're nice. Saltier than Ronald Mcdonald's ballsack though.
23:09 - asked the flight attendant to offer the man and his wife some champagne. She gave me a smirk and said "we'll take care of it".
23:11 - actually I think ballsacks taste more sweaty than salty. I guess I'll find out next time he catches me at KFC.
23:14 - I think that earlier message was a bit big-headed. I'm grateful that I was given some nuts to suck/snack on. I'm grateful for this whole ordeal. It's just that I still can't believe its happening to me.
23:18 - is it an instrumental if it has backing vocals?
23:21 - the two people either side of me are grown, functioning adults. I'm sitting here on my phone taking pictures of dumb stuff.
23:28 - what I thought was dinner was actually a starter! With three sets of metal cutlery!! A salad with cheese in it (that caught me off guard) and salmon with pubes on it. Salmon tastes like dirty fish water.
23:41 - my battery is draining extremely fast... I might not have enough to log the whole trip.
23:43 - I JUST SPOTTED THESE CUTE LITTLE SALT AND PEPPER POTS OMGGGG
23:47 - dinner! A huge piece of chicken (I think it was a thigh?) with some pasta and a pile of green stuff. Really good!
23:57 - if it sounds like I'm being rude with the descriptions, I'm not trying to be, I just don't know what I'm eating. It's good stuff though!!
0:00 - I'm not an Apple fan but the battery life on my iPod nano is really good. My Nexus 4 however...
0:04 - taking my shoes off. Get the nose pegs out.
0:10 - in the music menu there's an option to listen to the captains. Creepy.
0:17 - now they replaced my cup of water with a bottle. I guess its these thoughtful little things that make it costly.

We’re putting together our first ever chiptune compilation album! A sizable portion of all money made (anything not being directly funneled back into the organization to pay for printing, postage, venue fees, etc.) will be donated to a queer-friendly charity TBD.
Our criteria are simple!
-Must be an original chiptune work (no covers unless they are of your own work and not owned by anyone else)
-Must be a previously unreleased work
-Please submit a brief (a couple lines is fine) bio about you and your place in the LGBT+ community. Allies are welcome to submit!
-Send an email to [email protected] with “SUBMISSION” and your artist name in the subject, your song attached, and your bio in the body of the email.
-The top 15(ish) tracks will be selected.
-THIS IS AN UNPAID COMP. If we magically make a ton of money, you bet the first place some of it will go is back to the artists who make this possible. But it is, for the most part, a work of total charity.
