a tumblr sexyman is made up of two specific traits:
1. the character is not considered attractive in canon, and casual fans/people outside the fandom will generally not register them as attractive
2. the fandom (on tumblr primarily) sexualizes the fuck out of the character (nonhuman characters of this ilk are often but not always given a sexy humanoid twink form)
if the character isn't both of those it's not a tumblr sexyman. it's either a normal attractive character or a little weirdo that a handful of people like a lot. and that's okay! characters can be those things! but a Tumblr Sexyman is a distinct species
