Ever since Pike was elected Chancellor Bellamy had changed. Hell most people had changed.
“The grounders you have locked up are our friends!” You scream at a guard who was not letting you through to see them.
“Grounders are the enemy.” The guard pushed you away.
“Let me through!” You try and push past him but he grabs you flinging you into the opposite wall with a thud. Your lower back throbbing with pain. “That's all you got?” You hiss. Covering the distance between you and the guard.
“If you don’t stop you will be locked up with them.” The guard threatens.
“I would rather be in there for doing the right thing then out here with you monsters.”
The guard swung a fist landing perfectly against your jaw. But he didn't stop there, swing after swing kept coming.
“They murdered my family!” He screamed. The guard finally stopped dragging you from the ground into the cell with the others.
“Y/n?” You try and wipe the blood from your face hissing at the pain.
“Lincoln.” You try to smile but your face protests. “I had to do whats right.” You mumble as Lincoln starts to carefully wipe the blood from your face.
–
“Oh my god y/n?” You hear Abby’s voice as the cell doors open. “They said you attacked a guard.”
“Pretty sure I didn’t swing once.” You mumbled as Abby poked and prodded your face.
“You are going to need stitches.” Abby reached inside her bag. “I don’t have anything for the pain.” You nod closing your eyes.
“Y/n!” You hear not opening your eyes Abby had left long ago but you still remained on the same position not wanting to aggravate anything. “Open the door!” You recognise it as Bellamy. “When did this happen?” A hand touches your face causing you to flinch away. You eyes now open and using the wall as support, you get to your feet. “When?” Bellamy repeated a hurt look on his face.
“Yesterday.” Lincoln answered as you carefully moved away from Bellamy. “If she is in here for attacking the guard that left her here, I really need to see what she did because the only injury he had was on his knuckles from beating her.”
“Is that true?” Bellamy looked at you.
“I feels safer in here then I have felt outside in weeks.” You step towards Bellamy wanting him to see what his “causes” does to people who don’t agree. “Ever since Pike got here…” you trail off going down a different train of thought. “Well when Abby and Kane were in charge I wouldn’t have been beaten and locked up because I disagreed with them.” You push Bellamy away. “Go Blake before you make this place unsafe as well.”
