Did I mention I have a lot of Renegade!Mara headcanons? Well, here's another one: after Argon's Resistance was overrun by Clu, after Tron got Rinzlered and Beck grew distant and erratic as he tried to pick up the pieces of his calling, Mara put together a faction of her own and took the fight to Tron City. And since anyone as unapologetically Gryffindor as she is needs a strategist who can think like the enemy, and Purgos had long ago become unfit for even the most resourceful of programs, she formed an uneasy alliance with its erstwhile crimelord and tl;dr Gorn and Mara running a Resistance cell together until rocks fell and Rinzler landed on them all like we knew from the beginning had to happen and I would like ten seasons and a movie of that plz.
