There is only one road to Alderhelm from the highway and it cuts through a vast woodland, twisting through the trees like a long, unending wound. It is a limbo that swallows cell phone signals and good sense; a limbo that leaves passengers alone with themselves—alone with their thoughts. 

DROWNING SONGS is an upcoming seaside horror site set in the fictional small town of Alderhelm, Maine.Threaded through with light supernatural elements, the story is told in chapters and features four central subplots for advanced writers who are 21+. 

please don’t rely on admins / mods to move your plots along, especially if it’s a plotless rp / town rp. events are really fun, but TAKES A LOT OF PLANNING to make immersive and exciting and not just rely on another “festival” or “ball” to keep things going. if there is someone that you haven’t interacted with yet, reach out to them!! 

admins are their to mediate and keep the roleplay safe and fun for everyone. if you can’t do the bare minimum and whine that you have no threads BECAUSE you don’t reach out to anyone, offer to write starters, or reply to any opens, THAT’S ON YOU. do not blame admins for not creating a “welcoming” environment when it’s on you as a player for not being able to reach out.
