She did eventually find peace and comfort in more alternative remedies, such as holistic medicines, spiritual practices, and meditation.

Marisole finds comfort in treatment that focuses on both her body and mind, rather than the individual aspects of her character. In times of great stress, she lets go of the attention towards her inner self and puts her faith into the universe as a whole. Marisole believes that removing focus on the past and future is the key to happiness, in an effort to continuously focus on the present. Marisole’s best method to channel the present are sets of 5 minute breathing exercises that help her to connect to the stillness of the universe as a whole.

Byron often feels overwhelmed with physical symptoms of anxiety - the tightness in his chest, the cold sweats, and the rush of adrenaline that feels overpowering. Byron channels the extra energy rushing through him during these bursts of anxiety into regular exercise. Such a commitment to physical fitness has reduced Byron’s fatigue and improved his mood and sleep.

Byron has not only committed to exercising, but also taking on other lifestyles that have helped his body feel better, such as eating healthy, drinking at least two liters of water a day, and taking daily vitamins and calcium supplements. Byron finds that when his body feels good, he feels good.

"Anxiety Buddies" are, of course, not meant to be any kind of cure or remedy for anxiety, but as a method of offering ideals and insights for those that may be struggling to seek out help, take on individual coping methods, or to simply connect with a positive role model.
