In the airport lounge of Munich Airport. There's Thai green curry which is surprisingly good.

Eating fried Bavarian pastries.

For dinner, my Asian stomach craved more familiar food. But Asian food from the fake Chinese restaurants is so bad I'd rather starve. I settled for a pork ribs burger from McDonald's.

A friend messaged me: don't just show the wrapper. I'm sure you took a pic of the food.

Yes I did:

I've been asked why I'm always alone. I'm just not in the habit of posting other people's photos unless they are pics from NEWT or the WNBR where it's clear from the start that pics and videos will be taken and posted online.

28 July hiking - very hot and sunny.

Mallenbach-Glasbach to Sitzendorf-Unterweißbach hiking.

Total distance: 14.35km

Total ascent: 545m.

NOTE: I have received negative comments about the above pic. Many of my pics are taken when I'm on the move. I use the GoPro Max 2 with a 9-foot selfie stick. I don't want my constant photo taking to hamper my fellow hikers' momentum. So I usually don't stop to pose for a pic. Depending on the angle of my camera and the natural swing from my rapid movement and the ground condition, some pics may appear to some viewers as inappropriate but it really is not. Maybe a video will make it clearer:

It rained last night and the ground is wet. But today's weather seems promising for hiking.

But I was wrong. It was a rainy morning

Before breakfast this morning.

Today is castle-visiting day.

Total hike: 15.11km.

Total ascent: 468m.

Dinner was the delicious Thuringian Rostbrätel dunkelbir.

Good morning! Woke up just before 7 and the air is crisp at 13° this morning.

I'm now very cautious when I have to go through thick foliage like this:

That's because last night a friend had to pull out a tick from me. Tics can potentially cause diseases.

Hiking in Jena

For my lunch, I made it very clear that I wanted a table with a view.

1st day of hiking in the enchanted Thuringian forest.

Distance: 15.86km

Total ascent: 472m

Real challenge was the cold. 13° today. The sun didn't shine at all except for a few minutes.

Minor scratches from some thorny bushes and a little slip down a treacherous slope. My battle scars:

Too minor to mention but this is my diary. The knee scratch was caused by the little slip and the scratches on the shin and the thigh came from some thorns.

Short ride on the train to meet friends for the Thuringian nude hiking.

I just woke up and am now looking through my videos taken last week. I tended to show on social media the good spots as if I suddenly appeared there. What I didn't show was the tough climb especially when I was holding at all times my GoPro Max 2 attached to GoPro's very hardy 9-foot extension pole. The second pic tells it all. It's a lot of hard work. It's my left hand that is holding the pole. It can't be seen because that's the blind spot of the 360 camera.
