a/n: took this request in a bit of a different direction than it was maybe intended but i hope it's still good. shoutout to the spencer/angela friendship subplot that really carried through. i love writing the social media aspects so any requests for that i am more than happy to do. also lore drop: i'm a lesbian so writing wlw storylines comes a lot more naturally to me if anyone wants to request more of those in the future.

“Who wants to come to Y/N’s show with me tonight!?” Angela asks in a sing-song tone as she sits down at one of the lunch tables in the Smosh office, interrupting the several smaller conversations that were just previously happening before she arrived. 

“Y/N the singer? How did you get tickets, they have been sold out for months” Spencer is shocked by the offer from Angela. He is a huge fan of your music and the two of them have spoken about your music a lot but she had never mentioned to him that she had gotten tickets to your concert. 

“What other Y/N would I be talking about?” Angela shows visible confusion at Spencer's reaction, she has been talking about you around the office ever since she joined Smosh, never hiding the fact that you two have been and continue to be in a long-term committed relationship. 

“You could be talking about your girlfriend Y/N” Courtney points out, there is nodding in agreement from others sitting around the table including Tommy, Arasha and Shayne. 

“I am talking about my girlfriend?” Angela is still very clearly confused, not realising yet that no one in the office is actually aware that she is dating you. 

“YOUR GIRLFRIEND Y/N IS THE SINGER Y/N?” Spencer yells, the entire office definitely heard him but everyone is used to screaming, especially cast members screaming so there is no visible reaction from anyone else around. Only murmurs and overlapping conversation at the ‘cast table’ as they try to work out why Angela had never told them that she was dating you. 

“Of course? Is this some kind of prank? Arasha have you convinced everyone to pretend they don’t know who I am dating?” Angela is now very close to Arasha's face, convinced that this whole situation is part of the ongoing prank war that the two of them are constantly stuck between. 

“This has nothing to do with me, You have never told us you are dating Y/N” Arasha states earnestly. 

“I’ve told all of you since the day that I started here that I’ve been dating her” Angela is questioning everything at this point, was it really not obvious to everyone that she had been talking about you the entire time. “Spencer, you and I talk about her music all the time? I post her on my instagram stories all the time and you always reply?” 

“I just assumed you were a fan,” he shrugs. “But hey if you can get me free tickets for her show tonight I am so there” 

Everyone around the table agrees, wanting to go to the show. Partly to see you perform but mostly to be able to confirm for themselves that Angela actually is dating you.

“Hi baby” Angela bounds up to you like an excited puppy, a large smile on her face as she approaches. 

“I’m so happy you could make it babe” you respond to your girlfriend embracing her when she is close enough to you. There is a group of people looming slightly behind her that you notice as her much smaller frame is flush against you. “You have some people you want to introduce me to?” you ask her, nodding towards her coworkers, all of whom you are aware of but have not previously had the opportunity to meet. 

“They don’t deserve to meet you but I guess I will introduce them” she grunts, you can tell that her tone is not too serious but that there is some kind of history to the statement, a history that you will surely be informed of once at some point.

“Guys this is Y/N, my GIRLFRIEND and the singer” she motions to you, as you wave to everyone. “Didn’t realise I needed to make that distinction” she murmurs, just barely loud enough for you to catch on to what she is saying. 

You are met by a series of waves and hellos from the Smosh members as they introduce themselves to you. Tommy, Courtney and Shayne saying generic hello’s and ‘nice to meet you’s. 

“Hi I’m Spencer” he holds his hand out towards you, shaking your own as you stick yours out too. “I’m a huge fan, If I had known you were dating Angela I would have asked her to introduce us awhile ago”. 

“You hadn’t told them we were dating babe?” you whisper to your girlfriend, there is visible confusion on your face as the two of you are pretty open about the fact that you are together and many of her other smosh coworkers such as Chanse, Amanda and Erin Dougal know about the two of you and have met you many times before. 

“I have told them!” she whines in frustration “I talk about you every single day but somehow these four have just gone along for the past two years not realising that you my girlfriend Y/N and you the singer Y/N are the same person” 

“But you post about me all the time?” you speak it sounds like the question is directed at Angela but you look towards the group for answers on why they thought Angela would post about you so much if you were dating. 

“I just thought she was a big fan” Spencer shrugs, giving the same answer that he had given to Angela earlier. 

“This is so silly” you laugh at the group. 

The rest of the evening is spent getting to know Angela’s coworkers, all of them piecing together times that she had spoken or posted about you and how funny it was that they hadn’t realised for almost two years that you are Angela’s girlfriend.

You make your way into Dynasty Typewriter, the location Angela is performing in ‘We’re all gonna die’. You had been to many of your girlfriends live shows and performances but you were especially excited for this one, it is all she had been talking about for weeks on end and it was the first ever live performance you would be seeing of her that is associated with ‘Smosh’. 

You are early, at least an hour and a half early per the request of your girlfriend. Usually you would show up to her shows at the same time as the audience and just see her afterwards, but she specifically had asked you to come early to this one, and who were you to resist her sweet puppy dog eyes. 

Sitting in the empty theatre you make yourself comfortable scrolling through instagram, you probably should have texted Angela that you had arrived but she would find you eventually you were sure. 

“Y/N hey” you hear a male voice, pulling you from the grips that fan edits had on you. Looking up you see Spencer now making his way towards you. 

After meeting him the night before you know he is a funny guy and that he and Angela joke around like they are siblings, you also know that he is a huge fan of yours which is a little funny to think about seeing as you are still a relatively small artist. 

“Hi Spencer. Are you in this too?” you ask him. There is no malicious intent behind the comment as you are coming into the show completely blind, only knowing what your girlfriend had told you, which was probably too much for you to completely take in so all you really took was that she is in a few episodes of this live performance thing and that it has something to do with jenga, or jenga blocks at least. 

There is a grimace that crosses his face, an indication of feeling offended that you weren't aware of him being in the performance or you not really knowing what it is about at all. It disappears quickly though, almost as quickly as it appears. “Yeah I am, do you know the premise of the show?” He is asking seriously, wanting you to be aware of what you are getting yourself into. 

“A bit? Angela has been telling me for the past few weeks but I’m not sure I’ve properly taken it all in” you explain to him. 

Spencer takes this as his chance to explain the premise to you, knowing he means well and that he is possibly a little nervous you let him explain, hearing the same type of excitement lacing his voice that Angela’s had when speaking about it. 

You do secretly text your girlfriend though,  letting her know that you are out front so that she can come see you before the performance and save you from Spencer who now just won’t stop talking. 

“Hi baby!” Angela smiles brightly at you appearing from somewhere backstage, you jump up to greet her, pulling her into a tight hug and kissing the top of her head. “Is this guy annoying you?” she asks in a joking tone pointing at Spencer who was now sitting by himself, practically frozen in a theatrical motion, having paused when you jumped up to hug your girlfriend. 

“Babe” you laugh, pushing her chest lightly. “He is okay, he was just explaining the premise of the show to me a little bit” 

“I’ve already done that though” she whines 

“I know you have” you quickly kiss her lips, mainly to get her to stop whining but also because you had been waiting to do so all day. “I think you two need to go and finish getting ready. I’ll be here waiting to watch and maybe we can all go and get some food after the performance?” you suggest to the two of them. They both start to trek backstage and you laugh at their demeanor clearly both sulking a little bit and bickering with each other like children.

After your concert on Friday night and Angela’s performance for ‘We’re all gonna die’ on Saturday the two of you finally have a full day off to spend together. 

There is a silence that fills your apartment as the two of you slowly start your day. While it isn’t uncommon in your household, especially as the two of you are deep and creative thinkers this does not feel like regular silence.  

“What are you thinking about babe?” you step behind the couch where Angela is sitting, gently massaging her shoulders trying to release some of the tension you can very clearly tell she is holding onto. 

“Our relationship” she replies in a serious tone, no indication that she is going to elaborate further. The words scare you a little as your mind races with thoughts on possibilities about what she actually means. 

“Could you please elaborate?” you ask her, attempting to mask the panic that is racing within you. 

“How could so many people at work not realise for over two years that you are my girlfriend” as she begins to rant you feel the anxiety melting away. 

You make your way around the couch sitting next to Angela, allowing her to ‘fall’ into you, her head resting gently on your chest. 

“I talk about you all the time, I thought I posted you enough, I don't understand what I am doing wrong” it’s very clear to you that her thoughts are spiraling and that they must have been quite a bit over the past few days. 

“You aren’t doing anything wrong babe” you assure her, your hands combing through her hair. 

“Are you sure? I could post you more?” she asks, her way of trying to solve an issue that really isn’t one. 

“Do you want to post about me more?” you ask her genuinely, you are happy with the way that your relationship is at this point of time but if this is an ‘issue’ for her then you are going to get to the bottom of it and allow her to do whatever will make her feel best. 

“I want everyone to know that I am yours and you are mine” she confirms. 

“We could post each other, very ‘officially’” you offer her. 

Angela looks up at you, a bright gleam in her eyes, “Can we post each other with lyrics to your song ‘lover girl’?” she asks. 

“If that’s what you want to do babe” you peak her on the lips, the two of you quickly getting to work crafting instagram posts that will be your ‘official’ confirmation of dating.

request: Smosh is doing another karaoke charity stream and reader ends up picking a little bit of a spicy song (for some reason I’m thinking Shy by Renee Rapp but it could literally be anything) and she just fully leans into it, fake flirting with the Smosh girlies, winking at the camera, dancing etc and it just absolutely captures Damien’s attention. Like at this point he has to admit to himself he’s attracted to her and has to adjust himself in his seat. Maybe it ends up with a confession or even smut?? Completely up to you :)

a/n: this request was sent to me through messages which i love and will absolutely accept from anyone. i chose the song 'house tour' by sabrina carpenter because i literally can not get it out of my head at the moment and because there may be some innuendos there ;). let me know what you guys think of this one and what else you want to see me write.

You have positioned yourself in the corner of the couch watching everyone complete their karaoke songs. A few people have sung already: Damien and Courtney starting off the stream with ‘Chug Jug with You’, Damien singing ‘Numb’, all the girls besides you doing ‘9 to 5’, Ian and Damian doing ‘The Saga Begins’ and Trevor is singing ‘How to Save a Life’ 

“When are you going to get up there?” Damien leans into your side, his mouth practically touching your ear as he asks, clearly trying to not interrupt the singing. 

You had really made yourself a part of the couch, not getting up to sing with anyone just yet. It wasn’t because you didn’t like karaoke, in fact you love it a lot. But tonight you had a special surprise, one that you had organised with Spencer before the stream, one that would only take place once the initial donation goal of $10,000 was met. 

“That’s for the fans to decide” you return the favour, speaking directly into his ear, making sure to breathe a little before you move away. You see Damien shudder a bit, clearly affected by you already. 

You know that Damien likes you, not in some ‘cocky’ everyone likes me type way. You overheard him speaking with Shayne a few months prior and since then you have been trying to do everything possible to get him to admit that he has a crush on you. The tension has been building for months and months and you believe that there is no way he can’t admit it after what you are going to do tonight. 

Trevor finishes singing and as he does you see Spencer make his way toward the front of the cameras. 

“Everyone this is awesome, we have already reached our goal of $10,000” hearing those words brings a slight smirk to your face as it means that you will be singing in just a moment. Everyone cheers a bunch including you. “We have a super special performance for hitting the donation goal. Y/N you’re up” Spencer calls you up walking back off camera. 

“Looks like I’m up” you speak softly to Damien, not quite in a whisper but not loud enough to really be heard by anyone else either. 

You stand in front of the mic waiting for Spencer to cue up the music, as you are waiting you start to play with the tie on your jacket acting ‘nervous’. You are wearing thigh high white boots and a sweet pink coat that hits your midthigh, no one questioned the outfit when you arrived as it is very ‘you’, a silly mistake on their part as they are about to get quite a shock. 

“Take your shoes off” you begin dancing around to the intro music. “This is ‘House Tour’. Thank you so much for $10,000. Enjoy” you wink directly towards the camera. You take the microphone off its stand and start dancing around the room, stroking Angela’s face with your hand and blowing Courtney a kiss. 

“Thank you for dinner, baby, I had a really great time. I really loved the conversation and that your car self-drives. The pineapple air freshener is my favorite kind.” You play into the seductiveness of the song, singing in a sultry manner. 

Everyone is freaking out about your performance, a “Get it girl!” heard from Angela. 

“Well, this is me, but if you have time” you place the microphone back on its stand and get ready to take your jacket off when the chorus starts. 

Your jacket falls revealing a baby pink version of the Sabrina Carpenter ‘Juno’ tour outfit, clearly made specifically for you as it fits like a glove. The room goes crazy, everyone freaking out over the reveal. 

“Do you want the house tour? I could take you to the first, second, third floor” you dance to the music, doing the suggestive dance moves that have been circling around tik tok. “And I promise none of this is a metaphor. I just want you to come inside”

You pick up the microphone again, making your way into the middle of the room “Baby, what's mine is now yours” you look directly at Damien and even with the darkness of the room you can see his checks flush as you continue. 

“The couch is really comfy, comfy.” you place yourself down next to him leaning back into the couch, putting on the performance of a lifetime. “Got some Chips Ahoy if you’re hungry, hungry (Oh)” you keep going, dramatically licking your lips. “You don't need to love me, love me, lovе me.” You are singing directly to him now, his face only inches from yours and you can see the desire in his eyes “I'm just so proud of my design (To dim the lights)” 

You hope back up, flirty dancing and jumping around the room, everyone else bopping along while all Damien can do is sit in shock. “Do you want thе house tour? I could take you to the first, second, third floor (I could take you to the—) And I promise none of this is a metaphor (And I promise none of—, ah) I just want you to come inside (Come inside)” 

“But never enter through the back door” you wag your finger. 

“House tour. Yeah, I spent a little fortune on the waxed floors. We can be a little reckless ’cause it's insured. I'm pleasured to be your hot tour guide. Baby, what's mine is now yours (Woo)” you are throwing all of your flirty moves to the camera, everyone on the couch and specifically Damien. 

“Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Co-come on, babe, oh. Oh baby, if you come inside, if you come inside. I might let you, uh” as the backing track plays you place the microphone back on the stand and pull Courtney and Angela up with you. You had been teaching them a tik tok dance for a few days specifically for this moment in the song. 

“My house is on Pretty Girl Avenue. My house was especially built for you. Some say it's a place where your dreams come true. My house could be your house too” you all absolutely kill the dance, the girls cheering for you as you get ready to perform the final chorus of the song. 

“Oh (House tour). So, um. (To the first, second, third floor). (House tour).(And I promise this is not a metaphor). Are you coming in or what?” you finish with a final kiss and wink to the camera. 

Everyone is cheering really loudly and your checks flush a little, realising what you had just done and who you had really done it for. 

You sit back down, letting Olivia take her time singing ‘The Climb’ with a few of the others. 

“Did you enjoy my performance?” you whisper to Damien again, he groans and throws his head back a little getting lucky that the camera that is being streamed is the close up camera not the couch one. “Is that a yes?” you bat your eyelashes, him still not having actually responded to you. 

“Yes, I don’t think you understand what you do to me Y/N” he explains. 

You place your hand on the pillow that he is now holding over his lap, pushing down on it slightly, you hear a slight sigh escape his lips. “I think I do. The performance was really just for you by the way” you inform him.

The stream finishes and you make your way off the couch, heading behind the cameras to grab your hoodie and sweatpants that you purposely put there earlier so you would be able to change out of your outfit before you head home. 

You feel a firm but gentle grasp on your wrist stopping you from moving. “Where do you think you’re going?” you turn your head seeing that it is Damien who is stopping you from moving. 

“I’m going to get my clothes” you speak a little awkwardly, pointing over to a corner of the room weakly. 

“Not so fast” Damien pulls you back onto the couch. You look around the room checking to see if anyone is watching you, everyone is busy speaking to each other or packing up not noticing the situation that is developing between the two of you. “Were you being serious when you said you did that performance for me?”

You nod quickly, a small smile playing on your lips. 

“That’s so hot Y/N. I’ve had a crush on you for a really long time” Damien admits to you, his arms reaching to scratch the back of his neck nervously. 

“I know” you giggle out, watching his eyes go wide as he had assumed that he was covering it up really well this whole time. 

“How do you know that?’ he spits out, complete shock laced through his voice. 

“I overheard you telling Shanye a few months ago and have been waiting for you to tell me or make a move since. I thought I had been making it kind of clear that I’d be okay with something more but you still never made a move” 

“UGH I can not pick up on social cues at all, I thought you were just being kind all this time” Damien admits realising that he could have acted on his crush a long time ago. 

“Y/N come on we are about to leave” Courtney calls out across the room, her and Shayne were supposed to be driving you home and clearly the two of them are ready to leave. 

“I’m going to take her home,” Damien calls back. 

“You live on the opposite side of town to her” Shayne states with a laugh, he assumes that this is Damien's attempt to finally pull something off with his crush and would never pass up the opportunity to tease his best friend a little bit. 

“I never said who’s home” Damien mumbles into your ear, it earns him a melodic laugh from you and inquisitive looks from both Courtney and Shayne. “Go and get your stuff darling” the way Damien speaks feels more like a command, it causes a fluttering in your chest and your cheeks to flush. 

Courtney and Shayne watch the whole interaction, still not sure if they could actually leave you with Damien or if they would be taking you home. 

You grab your things from the corner, when you turn back around you notice the three of them all looking at you, a sudden shyness overcomes you. “Shayne, Court, you guys can go home it’s okay” You smile at the two of them, they leave pretty quickly accepting your words. 

“Would you like to come back to my place? Or I can actually just take you back home, I don’t mind either way” 

“I’m going to be so mad if you don’t take me to your place Damien, I’ve been waiting far too long for this moment” you state, you have a sudden rush of confidence, placing your arms around the back of his neck, bringing your faces together, you are as close as the two of you can be without kissing and stop silently making sure that this is actually okay.

Damien finally makes a move, pushing his lips onto yours. It is sweet but passionate, you move your hand slightly grabbing onto his hair as he deepens the kiss. 

“Ahem” you both jump apart, the sound of someone clearly their throat causing you to realise where you actually are. “I’m happy for you two, but you have to get out of here so we can go home” it was Spencer who caught you. Your cheeks turn red and you bow your head slightly with embarrassment, not sure what came over you. 

“Come on darling, lets go” Damien places his arm around your back holding onto your shoulder as he guides you out towards his car. 

“Can I change first?” you halt once getting into the bullpen, realising that you are still wearing your Sabrina Carpenter outfit.

"Hi everyone, My name is Amanda Lehan-Canto and today on 'It's My Life' we have Angela Giarratana, here to talk about, you guessed it her life" Amanda speaks into the podcast microphone, her excitement spreading through the studio as she hosts her very good friend and first ever guest on her new podcast.

"Hiiiiiiii" Angela speaks, waving excitedly at the camera.

"For those of you who are yet to see the first episode or read the description, this podcast is dedicated to giving people in the Film and Production industry a space to share their stories on their own terms" Amanda explains with passion in her voice, this is an idea that she had been working on for a long time and having Angela on is sure to be a great start as she has millions of stories to tell and is an open book.

“I am so excited for this whole project Amanda, it's such an awesome concept and something I know you've been working so hard on. And I'm so excited to be your first guest” Angela smiles, the two of them falling into the flow of conversation, getting into the deep details of Angela’s life and how she got to where she is now.

“So Angela, onto your college days, you studied at UCLA and I know you have many stories to tell so I’m going to let you take it away” Amanda states, the two of them had briefly gone through Angela's childhood and teenage days, how she came to love acting and theater and what she thinks her childhood self would think of how her life had turned out to this point. 

“Oh I have stories alright” Angela wiggles her eyebrows, ready to tell stories from what were some of the best days of her life. “My improv and comedy group was really influential in my college days, they were the people I spent most of my time with and I am still close with almost everyone from that group to this day”

Amanda nods as Angela speaks, naturally taking interest and working in her mind to find the questions that would captivate her audience. “Was there anyone that really stuck out to you from that group?” 

Angela thinks for a moment, a light frown forming at her lips when her mind settles on you. Though it’s only seconds of time, she feels like she is reliving every memory that the two of you shared together including the heartbreak that she had endured almost 10 years ago. 

She recovers quickly, a bright smile overtaking her frown as she begins to speak. “During that time I was really close with Y/N, obviously she is a super huge star now, she has been in Marvel movies and many other incredible things. Seeing her reach global stardom has been kind of crazy but really awesome to me” 

“Do you feel like she is still the same as she was in college or that she’s changed a lot since then?” Amanda is genuinely curious seeing Angela had never really mentioned her friendship with you, as much as she is trying to get the best interview for her podcast. 

“I don’t know her now, we haven’t spoken since a few months after graduating. From what I’ve seen her acting has continued to improve over the years and she has been becoming the star I always knew that she would be. But on a personal level the person I know her as is probably not who she is now, the memories I have of her frozen in that period of time” Angela concludes, the conversation moving on swiftly.

“You sound like my mom” Angela laughs, “And are you making sure you are staying safe? Using protection?” she mocks, making herself laugh even more. 

“Rude!” Amanda puffs out, laughing a bit herself.

“But yes I did drink and have some wild nights during college” Angela answers, awaiting Amanda’s response allowing her to progress with the interview. 

“Are there any substantial nights that you remember? One that shaped who you are today, or your college experience?” 

Angela again only thinks of you, she had many drunk nights out during her UCLA days, many of them without you and more crazy than the ones that you shared but her mind keeps pushing her back to you. She gives in to the thoughts and decides to tell that story of your first kiss, a story that she hasn’t told publicly before or to anyone in quite a few years. 

“The night that my ex-girlfriend and I first kissed keeps coming to my mind” The sad smile tugging harshly at her lips as she speaks those words. 

“Ex-girlfriend? It’s the first time I’m hearing of this” Amanda explains, clearly surprised but not trying to derail the conversation but focusing too much on the fact that Angela is admitting publicly to having dated a woman. 

“I don’t really talk about her much, it was really a college thing. Maybe it being our first experiences living away from home and finding comfort in each other made us think that a relationship was what we needed from each other but it didn’t last so I just never really have reason to bring it up” 

“Well fair enough, you have bought up your first kiss though, would you like to elaborate on that?” Amanda continues professional interview style questions, not allowing herself to get hung up on the personal aspect of the situation which is wanting to know each and every detail of this elusive relationship that Angela had. 

“Yeah of course, we both had feelings for each other for a little while both of us were too afraid to admit them. But one night we were partying and apparently we just kind of started kissing and never stopped” Angela laughs at the thought, the two of you being yelled at by your friends to stop kissing, you stumbling back to your dorm together, falling onto your bed where you both ended up sleeping that night even though Angela's bed was just barely across the room. 

“We kissed a lot that night, like a scary amount. I remember that all of our friends had at least 20 photos each, from different angles and locations. That night is particularly memorable not for the night itself but for the morning after, we woke up in bed together, I somehow didn’t realise and had commented on an instagram post of us from the night before telling her to come to me not realising that she was laying in bed next to me” There is a soft smile that frames the way that Angela speaks about these moments, she clearly holds them dearly, wishing that everything could have stayed the way that it was in moments like that one. “She tapped on my shoulder causing me to turn around and we cuddled into each other, that is where she asked me to be her girlfriend, which is why that night drinking is one that I would consider the most influential from my college days” 

“Wow” Amanda says, “That really did change the whole trajectory of your college experience. Have you ever regretted getting into that relationship seeing as it didn’t work out?” She asks sincerely. 

“I try never to regret anything and I certainly don’t regret that. The relationship taught me so much about love and people and even myself. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I hadn’t had those experiences”.

Amanda and Angela pause briefly after the admittance of Angela having a girlfriend to regroup and discuss boundaries for the rest of the episode so as to not make Angela uncomfortable. 

“I hope that if you feel comfortable enough you and I can talk about this some more once we have finished filming, for now though are you okay to continue talking about your relationship and college for the podcast or would you want to steer away from that part of the conversation?” Amanda asks, the two of them having stepped out of the studio to talk privately. 

“I’m happy to continue talking about it, I think it’s a valuable conversation to have and something I’ve kept to myself for long enough, there’s no other place that I’d want to break this news than on your podcast Mandy” Angela speaks to her friend, visibly relax once she agrees to let this part of her life come to light. 

“Can I ask who your girlfriend was?” Amanda asks excitedly. 

“On the podcast? No. Here and now just us two? Of course” Angela is still not ready to tell the world who it was that she was with in college, admitting she even had a girlfriend was scary enough but she knows that if she told the world it was you that the whole thing would blow up more than it is already going to. 

“I respect that. So for personal reference, who was your girlfriend?” 

“Y/N” Angela states simply, bracing for the reaction that she already knows Amanda is going to have. 

“WHAT?! No way!” There is no response from Angela after this. There are many unanswered questions that she knows she will have to face later but for now there is a podcast that she has to finish filming.

“Something I think would be really valuable to talk about is your experience being in a relationship with a woman during college, what were the responses from the people around you?” Amanda asked, transitioning seamlessly back into interviewer mode. 

“All of our friends were really supportive” Angela laughs a little, remembering all of the crazy instagram posts from that time, college friends taking any opportunity possible to post photos they had taken of the two of you. “They were constantly posting us on social media and really treating us normally as both their friends and a couple. It was something from that time which I’m really thankful for” 

She pauses for a moment, contemplating speaking a bit more deeply about the subject. “It was my first relationship with a woman and I spent a lot of time questioning my identity: if I was gay or if I had just fallen in love with this person who just so happened to be a girl. Having our friends be really open to us took away a lot of the doubt and shame that I felt internally and made me feel, for a lack of better words, normal” 

“I am really glad that you had those supportive people around you, and for you Angela and everyone watching at home, you are normal, dating who you love is not weird, disgusting or wrong” Amanda adds, trying her best to be sensitive but also spread the message of allyship and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. 

“Thank you for saying that Amanda. On that though, not everyone was supportive and in this world not everyone always will be. There were a few people around, especially a girl in our dorm block who was very vocal in her hatred for us as a couple and the LGBT community as a whole but the love that we received from our friends and family really drowned out those few hateful people”

“Let’s get into some work talk” Amanda states cheerily, moving the podcast along. “And by work I mean student short films. One of your most popular ones was your senior film titled ‘It’s always been you’. Can you tell us a little bit about it?” 

“Oh wow” a mixture between a chuckle and a sigh leaves Angela's lips at the mention of the extremely personal and now deeply upsetting short film that you and she created together during your senior year of college. “I didn’t know that many people knew about that film, or that it is popular.” 

“Babe that sapphics are completely obsessed, I’m ‘chronically offline’ and even I know that” Amanda laughs, trying to lighten the mood in the room. 

“Well that is news to me. But yeah that film was my senior film specifically and it was such an awesome project. I worked really closely with each member of production throughout the entire thing and chose to act in it myself” Angela speaks, she knows that she is holding back, that saying it was yours and her story would be too much. “It actually won ‘Best Film’ and the ‘Entertainment Studies Award’ at the UCLA Film Fest and was entered into a few other film festivals including both Cannes and Sundance so that was a whirlwind of a time, all of this happening around the time that I was graduating”  

“It’s really impressive. How was it acting alongside Y/N before she got famous?” Amanda asks, she knows she is pushing it a little with the question but Angela is a professional so she knows how to answer a question the way that she would want and avoid any personal details that she deems ‘too much’. 

“Y/N has always been a phenomenal actress and I told her that many times during college. Getting to work with her was such a great experience and there is no one else in the world that I would have wanted to star with me in that film” Angela answers easily.

The two continue to speak, some more stories of Angela’s college days being told, including ones of the many different comedy groups and studies that she completed. The questions being asked are a lot easier to answer than ones that pertain to you, her ex girlfriend. 

She is distracted though, clearly having something on her mind and that something is you. She didn’t realise that doing this podcast would bring up so many memories for her and she definitely didn’t expect to be bringing you up in it. 

The relationship the two of you shared is something that she had been able to keep to herself for many years, she has dodged and avoided questions that could be answered by talking about you. For some reason though she wanted to bring you up, she could have easily avoided it, not needing to mention that drunk night that you two shared but she wanted to. She had been holding onto the details of your relationship for so long, not talking to anyone about it, especially not the people who know her now. She had tried to leave that part of her life behind her many times but now that she had mentioned it she felt good, lighter even. 

While she hadn’t and would never share every detail with the world she was somewhat excited that others would finally know a little bit more about her college days and the relationship that changed her entire life.

“Something from college we haven’t had the chance to talk about yet is SPRING BREAK” Amanda yells the words in a valley girl accent, causing herself and Angela to giggle together. “Please tell me you have some fun spring break stories?” 

“I don’t really, unfortunately. I only went on a spring break vacation one time and it was with my partner at the time. It was in senior year and the two of us had settled significantly really beginning to focus on our careers and what we were going to do once we finished college” Angela admits, she’s not sure if it will be caught out but she purposely changed from saying girlfriend to partner, leaving out the detail that this spring break trip is the one where she proposed to you. 

“That’s such an Angela thing to do, did you drink on this vacation at all or was this an all work and no play vacation?” Amanda asks. 

“We drank lightly on one night, a few glasses of champagne” Angela stated, those few glasses of champagne being your celebratory drinks from the night you got engaged.

“Looking back it is kind of hilarious, we went to Cancun, which is a spring break party destination. Everyone else around us at the resort was blackout drunk every single day but we sat on the beach practicing lines together but it was a really nice time and I would say that those days of practice helped both of us book some pretty awesome things”

“You went to Cancun and didn’t party?! Oh yeah wow that really is something you would do” Amanda laughs at the situation knowing that when Angela is locked in on work nothing else in the world matters.

“Let’s wrap up the college talk, with graduation and some post college talk” Amanda starts. “At the time of graduating what did your life look like?” 

“So when I was graduating I really got stuck into auditions and trying to find work in the industry, I did a few commercials and had small TV appearances and I also did a lot of local theater. It was probably the busiest point in my life so far but I was having a great time doing what I love and really trying to find my way in the world.” 

“Was there anything about becoming an ‘adult’ that really shocked you during this time?” Amanada asks, knowing that the transition from traditional schooling to trying to find your own way in the world is sometimes a really tough one. 

“How much relationships change was the biggest one. I think while in school it was really easy to be with friends and my partner and that was able to be where my priorities were without it affecting my education or my future too much as we were all on the same page all the time. Once you leave that, and I think especially in the creative industry where people really take off in all different directions to find their path in life things really change.” Angela begins to answer, remembering the really hard parts of that period of her life where she didn’t see friends as much, everyone was busy or moving away, booking things or finding ways to survive, everything for her changed in an instant. 

“When you were graduating how did you think your life would turn out? And do you think that reality has matched those thoughts?” 

“A lot of things that have happened in my life since graduating I would have never expected. I knew at the time that the industry is tough, I also knew though that I wanted to be part of it more than anything and that I would be willing to work hard to make it however I could, to have the chance to do what I love. In that way I feel like I have lived up to what I thought I would be doing, if not actually moved beyond what I thought I could do. I’m really happy with where I am and the projects that I have and will be a part of and I work a lot but everyday feels like a blessing” Angela speaks a little more on the projects she is working on. 

“The main difference would be my relationships, or especially my romantic relationship. When I graduated I really did see us staying together, our relationship lasting a lifetime, that didn’t happen though. We were living together for the first few months out of college, we had planned to support each other through auditions and castings and be at each other's shows and premieres. But that came to an end really quickly, the reality of adulthood caught up with us, sometimes for weeks at a time we would only see each other in passing and only talk via text. It put a large strain on our relationship and ultimately was one of the main reasons we broke up".

“Oh honey” Amanda sighs, while Angela is doing a great job of handling her emotions and not getting too upset her friend knows her very well and knows just how much she is hurting reliving the memories. 

“It’s okay, everything happens for a reason and that's just how it was meant to be. Looking back though with the wisdom, knowledge and skills that I have now, I’m sure that we could have gotten through those times and if we had, I know that she would have been my forever. There was no bad blood between us, there was just a childish lack of time and patience that neither of us was able to see through at the time.”

Once the podcast was released the internet exploded just a little. Fans of Angela and you scouring every inch of social media, finding twitter interactions, instagram comments, all of your old posts and even random photos of you both that had been posted on your families facebook's throughout the years. 

While Angela hadn’t assumed this would happen she was at least prepared when it did, understanding what was going on and why everyone was going crazy. You on the other hand were not versed in social media as much these days, being busy constantly working. So when an influx of comments started popping up on your college instagram posts and news outlets began contacting you to make a comment on your relationship with Angela Giarratana, you were confused to say the least. 

You followed the trail of everything that happened to a podcast that Angela was the guest on. Seeing Angela’s face pop up on your laptop screen made you feel a whole range of emotions. You sat and watched the whole thing being reminded of your college times and for the first time in quite awhile you missed her, you missed her more than you would probably be able to admit. 

In a moment of potentially stupidity you decided to message her, to bridge the gap that you purposely created. You asked her if the two of you could talk, instantly regretting it but you didn't allow yourself to unsend it.

You had been friends with Damien Haas for years, the two of you meeting through Smosh when he joined in 2017, you had already been working on the channel for the few years at the time, being considered one of the “OG” cast members. 

The two of you had become one of the most unlikely yet widely beloved duos, with fans constantly commenting on the way that you interact with each other in every video you are cast in together and complaining when videos didn’t contain both of you. 

Throughout the years there was intense shipping of you two as a couple, with proof posts and conspiracy theories taking up space in any corner of the internet where Smosh is mentioned. It didn’t bother either of you very much, if anything it brought you both closer, the two of you sending each other the posts, edits, video essays or finding time to analyse the fans' analysis, laughing at the ridiculousness of the claims that they made. Even when in your own separate relationships you were able to remain best friends, never letting the rumours get to you as you both thought that is all they would ever be, rumours. 

But on a random day in the office Damien would discover that everything he had thought about his feelings for you and your friendship had suddenly changed, in some of the most scary and unsuspecting ways.

“If I was a bee do you think I’d be the Queen Bee?” you ask flopping onto the couch located in the games office pod. Spencer and Alex don’t even look up at you, both of them engrossed in their work and more than used to you coming and hanging around just to talk to Damien. 

“What? Heh” Damien responds in bewilderment, a small giggle escaping as he processes what you had actually asked. “How did you even come up with that question?” 

“So like I saw a tik tok of someone talking about how Hozier is a bee keeper even though he isn't even of bee keeping age yet, which is true but I dig it, I would not mind homesteading with him.” Damien listens intensely just as he does every time you are speaking, his full attention is on you. 

“One of the comments mentioned the bee relocation girl who moves hives without protective gear, Have you heard about her?” While you have asked a question there is no answer as Damien knows better than to interrupt one of your very specific rants.

You continue easily, barely leaving a second to take a breath, “Apparently other bee keepers are mad about her content because it promotes unsafe practices”.  

“Speaking of unsafe bee practices, Barry B Benson having sex with a human woman, how would that even work?” You throw your hands up in disbelief, laughing to yourself about the idea of a bee and a human having sex. “The bee movie anyone?” there is a hint of a smirk that plays through your voice, this earns a light chuckle from Alex, nevertheless your ranting persists. 

“Anyway that got me thinking about the time I got stung by a bee at summer camp and how they let me be the first kid to get dessert that night because of it. I was actually semi-allergic so I got sent home the next day as they didn’t want to be liable if I died” You play into the idea falling back onto the couch sticking your tongue out and acting dead. 

“Jokes on them I survived" You spring back up, earning chuckles from all three of the guys in the room, all of them now listening to what you have. Damien is completely entranced by you, hanging on to every word that leaves your lips. 

“The summer camp thing reminded me of my childhood and my favourite t-shirt which had two bees facing each other, on that shirt the queen bee was on the left side and I’m left handed. He was an icon and taught me the difference between my left and rights. Which I would argue is iconic queen bee behaviour from me, thus, do you think I’d be a queen bee?” you end the rant with a faux bow, Damien matching your energy applauding and whistling loudly. 

“After all that there is no doubt at all that you would be a queen bee” your best friend informs you, there is a look that anyone else would describe as admiration spread across his face. 

A large smile plays at your lips at his comment, you throw an exaggerated wink at him and blow him a kiss. “I already knew that I would be but thanks for the confirmation” you get up quickly walking away from the guys after receiving the answer you wanted. 

Damien’s head falls into his hands as realisation settles inside of him. “I am so screwed,” he sighs. 

“You owe me $20” Spencer looks up at Alex, both of them clearly knowing what has just happened. 

“You guys bet on when I’d develop feelings for Y/N?” Damien chokes out, immediately slapping his hand across his mouth realising what he had just admitted. 

“No” chuckles are heard from both of the guys. “We bet on when you’d realise you are deeply in love with her” Alex explains. “I thought it wouldn't be for another few months AT LEAST” he sighs dramatically.

i’m pretty comfortable writing anything, fluff, angst, smut, etc i don’t really have anything i’m not willing to write about. when it comes to characters i’m happy to write for anyone from smosh cast (and crew), i only write ‘smosh x reader’ though, no ‘smosh x smosh’ ships.

prompt: your boyfriend spencer keeps defending you during a moose master shoot causing your castmates to tease you.

a/n: this is based on ‘moose master returns’ arguably one of my favourite moose master videos of all time and unfortunately i had to watch the whole thing as research for this fic ;). i included a lot of the game play details throughout and i'm not sure that i really like it, please let me know if that is something you enjoy or if i cant skip through it more to focus on the 'important' parts of the story. also this is my first ever smosh fanfiction so any comments, feedback or otherwise is welcomed and appreciated.

You are sitting behind the cameras waiting for everyone to enter the studio for your next shoot. Your boyfriend Spencer is by your side the two of you arguing over what you will have for lunch today, him obviously repping homestate and you trying to convince him that the chilli’s triple dipper would be the superior option. Obviously you could both get separate things for lunch but no one in the studio would dare say that, not willing to be met with confused glares from the two of you for such a crazy suggestion. 

“I'M GOING TO BEAT YOUR ASSES” Angela yells as she tumbles onto the games set, her entrance a mixture of skipping, some kind of leap and the least gracefully ballet twirl you had ever seen. 

You shake your head at the antics of your dear friend and stand up, “We will discuss this after, I’m not budging though, I want the triple dipper Spence” you whine a little, your voice clearly laced with small giggles. Spencer can't help but smile up at you, the sweetness in your voice almost causing him to cave in and agree to your lunch suggestion right then and there, not that he would ever admit that to you. 

“What if I just order homestate during the game” he lets out an exaggerated chuckle, as you freeze in place, your face displaying a stunned look. “You look like surprised pikachu” Spencer laughs even more now as your shock turns into a pout. 

“You wouldn't actually do that right?” your pouting continues, now clearly done in a dramatic fashion to make your boyfriend feel bad. 

“Of course I wouldn't do that Y/N/N. Now get over there, we need to start shooting” Spencer sends you a soft smile as he speaks, already knowing that he is going to end up with chillis for lunch as he can’t bring himself to say no to you.

“So nice of you to join as Y/N, what were you and Spencer so busy talking about?” Courtney asks in a teasing tone. 

“Lunch” you state simply, not willing to give her the satisfaction of acknowledging the unstated questions that follow. 

You already feel the chaotic energy simmering, today you are playing Moose Master with Courtney, Chanse, Amanda and Angela. Everyone had been excited to shoot this video since it was announced and that was abundantly clear with the laughter and teasing around the table while waiting for filming to start. 

Amanda intros, talking about how Moose Master hadn’t been played in quite a long time and that everyone is really excited to play. She explains that the rules at the top of the game are that ‘you can’t say the word no’ and ‘you can 't point your finger’. 

“We should all get it out now” Amanda states, everyone around the table yelling ‘no,no,no’ and pointing their fingers. You suggest that you should do a 5 way handshake that results in everyone at the table putting their hands together in a spiral. 

“It’s going to be a good game, no hard feelings” you state, trying to start off on a good note and make a joke of the fact that you know things are going to get extremely competitive. 

“Y/N said no” Alex calls out, you look towards him shocked as the game had not yet officially started, your eyes flicker to Spencer silently looking for help. 

“The game hasn't started!” you call back, there are overlapping conversations that have broken out at the table and Spencer and Alex are clearly talking behind the camera. A few more “no’s” are thrown around the table with your castmates trying to defend you and Amanda ends up pointing at you which causes even more drama. 

“Should we just start over? No penalty cards to be drawn yet” Spencer ‘asks’ but it's obvious that he has decided that this is what will be happening.

After the initial craziness the game starts off well. Courtney gets the question master card and asks a few questions which everyone at the table answers besides you, Courtney also breaks a rule by pointing to them which causes them to have to pull a card too. Angela ends up getting a lucky day card which she gives to you as you are the only person of the group who hasn't gotten a penalty card yet. 

Angela and Chanse get bonus cards and are able to change the rules, Chanse makes it that ‘you can’t say yes’ and Angela changes a rule so now ‘you can’t show teeth’. 

Chanse pulls the rock, paper, scissor card. He gets you and Amanda to play against each other. You and Amanda are neck and neck, both of you having won two times, this last round will be the decider. 

“Rock, Paper, Scissors” Amanda says, putting up paper and you keep your hand balled up as you froze and didn’t move. “I WIN!” she calls out, doing a little happy dance as she beats you. 

“Wait, that's no fair, I wasn’t ready” you whine out, trying to explain that you were not paying attention so you actually didn’t move. 

“Redo” Spencer states simply, clearly taking your side in the argument. Amanda and the rest of the table start yelling, not happy that you’ve been defended by the director. 

“Spencer, are you just going to side with your girlfriend every time?” “That’s so unfair” “This is favouritism” are just some of the calls which are heard. “Y/N wasn’t ready, she didn’t even more, it’s a redo, I would give that call for anyone” Spencer states shrugging, not leaving any room for arguments from the rest of the cast. 

You and Amanda redo the match and you win, you quickly move on not wanting to gloat about the win seeing as it already seemed a little unfair that you were able to redo your turn thanks to Spencer. 

Amanda pulls a card next getting moose master, she immediately raises her hands to her head to make antlers, everyone else following suit. You accidentally hit her as you raise your arms up causing her to scream out in pain. Her yelling takes away from the fact that you definitely raised your hands last. 

“Amanda you can save the card for later, it doesn't have to be used now” Spencer calls out, just another way that he subtly, or not so subtly saves you from having to take a penalty card. She agrees and everyone moves on. 

You are all joking around trying out different ways of talking with the ‘you can't use your teeth’ rule, everyone looking and sounding completely ridiculous. 

Angela pulls the copycat master, she looks around trying to decide who she wants to give it to, her eyes land on you, but with everyone yelling, including Spencer calling out that it would be funny for her to give it to Amanda, her focus leaves you and she does give it to Amanda causing her have to copy whenever Angela sticks out her middle finger. 

Amanda does her moose master and Angela loses, so she is able to get immediate payback, forcing Angela to say ‘let’s go baby!’ every time that she needs to pull a card. 

Courtney pulls rock paper scissors and gets you and Angela to verse each other. You lose very easily, not winning a single round, and you are forced to take a penalty card, you now have two cards, still beating everyone else pretty easily. Your penalty card is a bonus so you are able to change a rule, you change the ‘you can’t show your teeth’ to ‘you can’t say the word turn’. 

The next few turns are uneventful with Chanse picking up rhyme time, and using the word burn, it gets back to him and he says wyvern which Spencer and Alex argue does not rhyme. Amanda gets a bomb and pulls a lucky day card which she gives to Angela, the drama of Angela making her copy her action every five seconds fueling her decision. You pick the card slap jack and Chanse hits the table last, him accepting his fate and picking up a penalty card. 

Angela looks off behind Amanda pretending that she sees something causing the latter to freak out, yelling about how she wasn’t going to fall for the stupid tricks and explaining to the group what was happening, everyone is laughing, the energy of the room being completely heightened. 

“Did you also look Y/N?” Courtney asks through laughs as tears stream down her face. 

“Maybe..” you duck your head embarrassed that someone noticed you falling for Angela’s trick. The table breaks out into even more laughter. 

“Come on guys, lay off Y/N. Lets keep the game moving” Spencer calls out, doing his best to draw the attention away from you and have everyone focus on something else. 

“Yeah guys, lets stop teasing Y/N/N, we’re making Spencey upset” Chanse says with a mock pout, clearly teasing some more causing another outburst of laughter. 

Everyone moves on, with Angela getting a penalty for saying yes and Chanse finally picking up his penalty for losing slap jack, he gets a bonus card and changes one of the rules from ‘you can't say the word turn’ to ‘you can’t have your elbows on the table’. 

Amanda is freaking out over her copycat master, her still being completely at Angela’s will and being forced to stick up her middle finger constantly. You tell her that if she misses it once she can just pull a penalty card and then she doesn't have to do it anymore, she continues yelling saying that isn't true and she’ll have to do it until someone else pulls the card. You lean back in your chair a little defeated from being yelled at even though you were just trying to help. 

“Actually Amanda if you miss it you pull a card and it goes away” Spencer calls from behind the camera, backing you up once again. His comment causes you to smile a little, taking you away from the ping of sadness that hits your chest from Amanda saying you were wrong. 

The game goes on with Courtney pulling the action story card and losing once it gets back around to her. 

Angela touches the table with her elbow and you call the penalty, she groans and pulls a card, forgetting to say ‘lets go baby’ as she does causing her to need to pull another, this causes her to be hit 7 penalty cards and a meltdown ensues. 

“Can we pleaseeeee go to 10” she begs, Amanda backing her up saying she should be allowed to keep playing so that everyone doesn’t have to feel bad for her getting out first. Angela adds to this claiming she will make everyone miserable if she has to be out of the game, 

“Okay you are going to 10” Spencer calls out, allowing Angela to stay in the game and her whining to cease. 

“See guys, Spencer isn't just siding with me, he is being fair” you stated bumping Angela's side to get her attention. 

“You literally only have 2 cards because he has stopped you from getting like 10 Y/N!” Chanse calls across the table, this causes chaos to ensue with everyone arguing how many cards you would have if Spencer didn't keep saving you. 

As everyone dies down Chanse pulls the name game card. “Orville Peck” he states. 

Amanda calls out ‘Princess Diana’, immediately causing Alex to pipe up “not her name!”. Her eyes glare directly at Alex, she then backtracks yelling “fine! fine! Philip Seymour Hoffman, I didn't want to say it, R.I.P” 

As Amanda continues to scramble, you throw out the name Dwayne ‘the rock’ Johnson, a little confused if the game is continuing or not. 

Alex continues to argue that Amanda's turn is over as she fights this, claiming that her first name was for fun and the fans and that her second one was the actual name she was putting forward. “Amanda pull a card,” Alex calls. 

“You’re literally out of your fucking mind Alex” Amanda glares straight through the cameras directly at him, everyone else breaking out in laughter. 

She does pick a card though it being a bonus, and she changes the ‘you can’t say yes’ rule to ‘you can’t say anyone's name’. 

“Nicknames don't count, right guys?” you ask the room, no one is listening to you as Courtney, Chanse and Angela have all received penalty cards for each saying each others names. 

Courtney’s penalty card is a bonus as well and she changes the ‘you can't put your elbow on the table’ to ‘you must say i hate this family before you pull a card’. 

Angela is still tormenting Amanda with the copycat master, but she misses out on doing it one time which allows her to stop but also makes her pull a penalty card. 

Chanse adds the rule that you can’t use your right hand, Amanda comments that it is good for you as you are left handed. “So is court” you mention which causes uproar among the group with everyone claiming you said a name. 

“Pull a card Y/N” Alex calls from behind the camera. 

“Noooo guys, I tried to ask before if nicknames count and no one answered me! I clearly said a nickname not a name” you explain while everyone yells at you to take a card. 

“She used a nickname, not a penalty” Spencer states disagreeing with Alex’s ruling, the uproar continuing as once again Spencer has turned the rules in your favour. 

“This is going to be the most unfair win ever!” Amanda yells. “Why are you only defending your girlfiriend, Spencer?” 

“I’m not guys, I’ve defended Angela a bunch. I’m just here to clarify if rules are being followed” Spencer shrugs causing groans to be heard across your castmates. 

Subsequently Chanse gets echo master and makes Angela say ‘girl’ and Amanda gets copycat master and makes her snap her fingers, the two of them getting way too much enjoyment out of making the girl copy them both. 

Next up you pull the rhyme time card, proudly saying that you want everyone to rhyme with poo. Angela is extremely preoccupied with Chanse and Amanda getting her to snap and say ‘girl’ over and over. 

“I fear you must take a card” Spencer states as the moment moves forward, Angela still not having said a rhyming word. “You didn't rhyme anything with poo” 

Amanda immediately tries to defend her saying it isn't fair as they were doing the copycat master. 

Angela completely freaks about 6 cameras catching her be an ick but now she must take a card because she didn't rhyme anything with poo. The entire room is in hysterics, laughing heavily at what she is saying, even Courtney has fallen off her chair and is on the ground laughing at what is occurring at the table. While Courtney gets back up their right hand is which earns them a penalty, along with Angela pulling on which is a lucky day and is lovingly given off to Amanda. 

Angela is next to draw a card, getting the question master which everyone fears from her as she plays it so well. Courtney gets categories and chooses types of dogs with Chanse immediately losing saying “dottwhiler” instead of ‘rottweiler’. Angela asks him if he has ever seen a dottwiller to which he replies “girl”, Angela is quick to argue that he deserves a penalty as he replied to her question without asking a question although both Alex and Spencer agree that he doesn’t get one. The game continues on quickly with Chanse pulling story time and Amanda who is right next to him losing, everyone is slowly or rather quickly descending into madness with the effects of the game driving everyone just a little bit crazy. 

Amanda is forced to pull a penalty card, it becoming her 10th and her being out of the game, it is a bonus card which allows her to change a rule. Angela is relishing in no longer having to snap and Amanda is freaking out over being out, but from behind the cameras Alex and Spenser suggest that she changes a rule to say that you need 11 penalty cards to lose instead of 10 which she immediately does allowing her to be back in the game and you to point out that Spencer is helping people besides you. The new rule is not long celebrated as Angela asks a question which Amanda answers and she is now out of the game, only mere moments after getting her chance at still being in. 

The next few rounds go by quickly with you getting slap jack and Angela earning a bummer card for being the last to hit the table. Angela pulls the action story and Courtney immediately loses it and uses her right hand which you call out causing her to get a penalty card, it is a bonus and she changes the right hand rule although she threatened to change the 11 card rule which would have meant Angela would have been out. Courtney pulls the bomb card and also answers Angela's question causing her to pull two penalty cards, she gets another bonus and this time does change the 11 card rule causing Angela to get out and crash out over it, her ‘sore loser’ tendencies causing the rest of the table to end up in hysterics watching her. Chanse pulls sky high and Courtney loses although the timing is pretty even between you and her so you offer to take the penalty card bringing your total up to 3. You pull thumb master and Courtney loses. She gets a penalty card but it’s lucky day she gives you the card bringing you up to 4 cards. Courtney is next and she pulls the name game with Chanse losing immediately, none of you really able to focus at this late stage of the game. Your two opponents are both at 9 points only needing one more to get out each. Chanse gets rock paper scissors and makes you and Courtney play. You lose every game and end up pulling your 5th penalty card. 

You pull the copycat master and give it to Chanse, making him fold his hands on the table whenever you do, and Courtney pulls the echo master, making you say “ooowee” whenever she does. Chanse gets the point right card and you lose causing you to get your 6th penalty card, they are quickly starting to add up now but luckily you are still a few cards behind the other two. 

You pull categories and choose ‘furniture’. Courtney is doing her best to distract you making you say ‘ooowee’ constantly although it is ultimately Chanse who loses as he repeats credenza which you had already said. 

“Also breakfast nook is not furniture” Spencer states, discrediting one of Chanse’s previous answers. He argues back that it is as he has been looking for one for around three years and Courtney laughs saying maybe its not if he has been looking for three years. 

“You literally eat breakfast in my nook everyday” you fire back at Spencer, this being the first time you've said anything against him the entire game.  This causes a wave of laughter with the group, everyone's minds clearly going to a different place. 

“I shouldn’t have helped you throughout the game Y/N/N! I can’t believe this is how you repay me for everything” he replies causing everyone to laugh more. 

Chanse is now out and Courtney gets moose master, automatically allowing her to give you a rule as you two are the only remaining players. Angela begs to be let back in somehow and Courtney humours her making the rule that if you wish to speak to her you are required to speak through Angela. 

“I am Courtney’s representation” Angela proclaims cheeky. 

“You aren’t supposed to play anymore so that clashes with another rule” you state. 

Angela, taking her role seriously, says “Y/N said im not supposed to play anymore so it clashes with another-Hey! No it's okay im not playing” she stops half way through her sentence to argue with you. 

You pull the point right card which automatically causes Courtney to get out. A soft “oh” is heard by Courtney, followed by “my client said oh” from Angela and laughs around the room. 

“Angela, can you tell Y/N it's been a pleasure playing and this may be my death” 

Angela looks at you and before she is able to say anything you state “I got it”. 

 Angela gets close to you and breathes in your face “my client is about to die” which is true as she gets a bummer card and you win. 

“Y/N ONLY WON BECAUSE SPENCER HELPED THEM THE WHOLE TIME” Chanse calls out, everyone laughing out no one actually caring in the end.

You sit quietly pouting, everyone quiets down and Chanse asks you what's wrong. 

“I want triple dipper for lunch” you bring yours and Spencer's argument from earlier back into things. 

“Fine Y/N we will get Chilli’s” Spencer sighs loudly, immediately laughing afterwards though as you begin to celebrate dancing around the table, excited about your win and the lunch that you are about to get.

“Do you think the comments are going to mention the fact that you practically made me win?” you ask Spencer as the two of you head towards his car. There is a hint of insecurity in your voice, scared about how the comments will react to what has occurred. 

“Why would they? It was a completely fair game” he says simply. 

“Spence come on, you clearly helped me win just a little” 

“Okay yeah Y/N I helped you win, but you deserved it” 

“If you say so, I still think the comments are going to rip me to shreds” you can imagine now what the comment will say. 

i am not new to the world of fanfiction, i have been writing for the past 13 years for various different fandoms. i am not new to smosh by any means either, but i have only just recently got back into watching and in a big way, its reached the point of obsession. i have been reading so much fanfiction over the last few months and have finally taken the leap to start writing.
