he sat at his desk and only took a few bites and a sip, he was starving but as soon as he saw the food his appetite went away, so he decided to just sleep it off. Days passed and he has lost his appetite, the akumas started happening again, chat noir became reckless, he stopped making jokes , started fighting silently and with brutal efficiency and it didn’t go unnoticed by Ladybug who grew even more worried each passing day but when she tries to reach out he pushes her away with a cold tone. Adrien stopped going to school, he only slept and took a few bites for lunch and called it a whole meal for the day everyday and just back to sleep again. Gabriel, sensing Adriens immense grief attempts to akumatize him to "give him the strength to cope” but Adrien resists the akuma and that was his last straw. he’s filled with rage and sadness, he becomes chat noir and swings his way on the almost top of the eiffel tower where he stands at the edge, his eyes are filled with tears and his fists are clenched so hard his arms started shaking, he heard a voice call out for him behind him as he turned around, “Chat? are you okay?” Ladybug. Chat noir fully turned around as he started sobbing loudly at the sight of Ladybug. She sees him break down and immediately walks toward him before he yells between sobs “DONT” Ladybug froze, “Chat? whats wrong??” Chat noir clenched his fists again before facing Ladybug again, tears still running down his face as he tries to compose himself “monarch. h-he’s my father.” Ladybugs eyes widen as she unconsciously takes a step forward “What?” Chat noir crossed his arms as his claws sinked into his skin, he starts shaking as he starts explaining how he found out everything, the more he explains the more Ladybugs face remains shocked. “I cant do it anymore Ladybug.” Ladybug immediately ran towards him and grabbed his hands to stop them from sinking into his skin “Chat don’t say that, i can help you deal with it-“ Chat noir grabbed Ladybugs yoyo in a swift move “cataclysm” he crumbled the yoyo and stepped back, his feet close to the edge, “why did you cataclysm my yoyo?” a tear escaped chat noirs eye as soon as Ladybug said it, he took out his ring before Ladybug could stop him and detransformed as he put the ring to the ground, Ladybugs eyes widen and before she could speak Adrien spoke, “so you wouldn’t be able to save me. i’m sorry.” and before Ladybug could process his words Adrien stepped back and let himself fall from the tower, Ladybug immediately tried to grab him but failed, the only thing she could do was watch, without her yoyo shes not able to swing and grab him, she could just watch with tears in her eyes as her partner hit the ground.

Adrien wanted to ask his father permission to go out with his friends so he made his way to his fathers office when seeing him about to walk in, he followed his father, but of course Nathalie stopped him before he could step foot into the office but Adrien had already planned it out and pretended to walk away and hid in a near corner and had Plagg make a loud noise in the kitchen so that Nathalie would go to check it out immediately and so as she did Adrien ran in front of the office doors and silently opened them and saw his father touch the painting carefully, Adrien was about to speak up before Gabriel pushed some buttons on painting that slowly made him sink into the ground, Adrien immediately ran to the spot where his father was, the floor had appeared right back, Plagg came through the wall and asked him where his father went, Adrien without responding started touching the painting trying to recreate his fathers movements and after some time… click. Adrien slowly sinked into the ground as he firstly flinched but then steadied himself as Plagg immediately followed behind. As Adrien sank to the ground he realized it was an elevator.. strange.. he thought, until, the elevator opened. Adriens eyes widened immediately, what was this place? “Dad?” Adrien called out for his father who flinched at the sound, Gabriel slowly turned his head as he meet Adriens gaze, they remained in silence before Adrien caught with his eye what was behind his father, was that.. a glass box? “Dad what is this place?” Adrien started getting goosebumps by the vibes of that place, he slowly walked towards his father as he slowly started uncovering about what the glass box could be, Adrien froze, he realized not only was it a glass box, but inside it was his mom. He immediately stepped back, shocked, panicked, he meet his fathers gaze who was looking at him with wide eyes too, Adrien started shaking before his father put a hand on his shoulder, “Adrien you weren’t supposed to see this. But theres no going back now, theres something i should tell you.” his father looked at him dead in the eyes as he explained everything, the wish, the butterfly miraculous, how they could finally be a completed family again. Adrien started tearing up more and more as his father explained everything, he felt his chest tighten and his breathing fasten, he pushed his fathers hand away from his shoulder and stepped back looking at him still shocked, after a few seconds Adrien ran back to the elevator as fast as possible, his chest is tighten and, his breathing is unsteady and his vision is blurry by the tears but he just wants to escape, as he makes his way back to the office he opens the doors abruptly ignoring Nathalies shocked look on how Adrien managed to get in in the first place and ran to his room locking the door to his room, he couldn’t calm down his breathing so he transformed into chat noir and started swinging with his staff like a maniac, he kept crashing against things but he didn’t care, he just kept swinging and letting himself get hit, he just felt the need to escape from everything at that moment, should he tell Ladybug? should he be by his fathers side? why would his father do all this? why?. After continuous swinging he heard his ring beep, he was about to detransform, but he didn’t wanna go back to his house so he just made his way to the eiffel tower and just laid there, he detransformed but he still didn’t move, half an hour passed, 2 hours, 8, 10…. The day came but he didn’t wanna move, he didn’t wanna go back, he just wanted some time to think. 2 Days passed and he still was there, no food, no water, strangely no akuma, but he was starving, he only then decided to transform and make his way back to his room where he still found his door locked before he heard a knock, “Adrien?” Nathalies voice. “If you still feel like not talking is fine, i’ll leave your food at the door, footsteps echoed away as he slowly opened the door and took the tray with delicious food and a glass of water at the side, he took it inside and closed the door again -
