A swell of pride surged through him, and Four couldn’t help but smile. Amar was one of the few people he actually liked, much less tolerated here in Dauntless, and so his feedback and instruction meant a lot to him. Amar gave him a small sense of hope that maybe, just maybe, he could make it here.
❝ I thought you weren’t going to call me that anymore.❞
Amar straightened, being sure to suppress the amusement he felt into a idle grin in front of the other initiates. The camaraderie didn't carry into the training rooms for a reason-- but it didn't hurt to poke a little fun at the other, who he'd somewhat singled out from the others. ❝-- You thought wrong.
