Radnormal is so culturally christian it hurts. The idea that redeeming oneself is something you 'earn'/can be given comes from christianity. No one is irredeemable because anyone and everyone can work towards bettering themselves which is what redeeming oneself is. Its compensating for the faults and bad actions that one has done.

To say that theres a group of people who cannot ever do any good, who cannot ever reduce the bad they did in the past, is to say that there are groups of people who are inherently evil and that no matter what they do, even if they donate like a million dollars to charity, that their actions are 'tainted'.

And to equate fiction and kink between consenting adults to actual real child and animal abuse is frankly disgusting and just goes to show how much people totally 100% care about victims. And the assumption that 'child predators' and 'pedophiles' are a circle (something that was btw constructed by homophobes and transphobes because they believe that all gay and trans people are pedophiles and that all pedophiles must also be child predators and vice versa) and not a venn diagram with the smallest little overlap in the world doesn't help anyone. Especially because it positions abuse (of which having sex with a child is always abuse and always rape) as something that's done out of love and attraction and not something that's done because child predators want to feel powerful and in control of something and the easiest target to feel that power and control is by abusing kids.

I can't believe I even have to say this but believing that an entire group of disordered individuals are all 'potentially dangerous' (and really, I've looked through the radnormal tags and you don't see people with paraphiliac disorders as 'potentially dangerous' you see them as inherently dangerous who should all self isolate or even better, all kill themselves) is quite literally fascist rhetoric.
