The change in their performances from the first time I saw them to mid-November (and even currently, I just don’t have those audios handy) is astonishing. It’s Gonna Be Good (Reprise) into Why Stay?/A Promise, just to illustrate my point. Yes, the musicality of the clip from the 25th, is gorgeous, but the raw emotion from the 11th is what the show is all about.
