Idk how much i'm gonna post about the World Cup still but like

Personally i had a lot of fun even if my country didn't qualify. I like rooting for other teams!!!

I've been rooting for A LOT of teams, Australia was my peak (Jackson Irvine i love you) but they got booted off almost instantly and i cried like a mf... i was also rooting a lot for Norway, since it's a country that has a special place in my heart (and also Haaland but he is not the reason i startes cheering for Norway). Also Japan and Brasil were awesome AND I LOVED THEIR MATCH SO MUCH!!! Now i'm rooting for Spain as much as i can, i love their team and their country (+ i have MANY spanish moots and friends, so i feel kind of attached)

On a positive note, in the midst of my crisis I have now discovered that a Spanish football player who is literally the real-life version of how I potentially see Davi exists, and it's Mikel Oyarzabal in all of his glory.

How did I even miss him as a potential inspiration? Most likely because I am way more invested in the Spanish women's football team ops. Sue me.
