do you ever wonder how lucci pitched the idea of not speaking for five years to the rest of the team when they got assigned to water 7? like all i can imagine is something along the lines of
lucci: “i have a great idea guys”
kaku: “okay what is it”
lucci: “to disguise myself during this mission I’m going to pretend to be mute but get this hattori pretends to talk for me but it’s actually me talking in a pigeon voice”
kalifa: “lucci why”
kaku: “none of us are disguising ourselves you know it’s fine you don’t have to do that”
lucci: “no im doing it”
like there was genuinely NO REASON for him to do that
