The Astronaut is a decoder, bad at vaulting, but have a unique ability to use Astrophage to find loot boxes, ciphers, the exit, and the escape. He also has the uncanny ability to sense when a hunter is looking in his direction from anywhere on the map, but only after he becomes paranoid. Rocky is a pet.

The Butcher would be able to use blood to find survivors as it actively seeks out thoes that are alive. He can use it to trap and eventually pull them into madness (similar to Naiad's water ability). He's slow but has a long rage attack with his claws. As a special attack he can summon Elle to attack a survivor for an instant down so long as the blood has locked onto them (Can only use this twice).

Summery:

It probably took way too long for Simon and Adrian to save the stars. They weren't the best for the job, after all. Simon was just a pilot with some engineering under his belt, along with whatever he was taught from the Hail Mary Project, but everyone more qualified who understood this sort of thing had died. Adrian had been in a similar situation, but at least they understood more about micro-organisms than he did--although not by much. It took them months to figure it out and breed the taumoeba to survive both of their planet’s atmospheres that it would live on, but they did it. Together. Even if they kinda slightly hated the other’s guts.

Not a year after living on Erid, something new was introduced. Grace, he called himself. A man who seemed to think that if he smiled, the universe would fall apart at the seams. A man with way too many skeletons in his closet. A man who refused to let anyone help him without repaying the debt. That is until Adrian’s mate, a creature who definitely hates him probably, introduced themselves to the man. Shaphan seems to be the only one able to get Grace to smile.

Notes:

Grace: It'll be fine. I'm a professional.

Simon: I'll hurt you! Shred your skin off! Do you really want that?!

Grace: Can't be much worse than having your skin melt off.

Grace, trying not to sob: Sometimes people do things and it turns out they don't like it.

Grace wouldn't stop nipping at his burns so he got The Cone Of Shame.

My cat recently had surgery and while she's still on pain meds, she wont need her Cone, but will eventually for the itching. I think Anthros would have an altered version of The Cone so they can still face forward and being tall enough that they couldn't really reach over very well. This means they (Grace) would need help getting itchy spots on his head. I guess they could also wear a muzzle but The Cone is so much funnier.

Curly got skin graphs as soon as they got him stabilized. It's mostly Grace's, but some of it is Simon's (from his non-mutating side). Grace is running out of clothes.

Relationship wise, uhhh..

Adrian, Rocky, and Grace are in a Asexual Polyromantic thing.

Grace is in some sort of relationship with Simon (neither are for sure what it is yet). Simon is fairly close to Adrian.

Curly is just here for the vibes (and treatment). He's friends with everyone to some extent but him and Simon tend to but heads often. They get along (+ Rocky) when it comes to trash talking Grace's piloting skills.
