It took him a while to figure out how to wear a jumpsuit. "Move your lazy ass convict"! helps him figure it out quicker!

Hugh's transformation from preppy fratboy to convict was complete!

Hugh is taken to the Chain Gang cellblock where he discovers a bunch of guys just like him! His cellmate stand up and says, "Are you Hugh Donaldson"? "You're my cellmate. Follow me"!

"OK Hugh. This is it for 3 months. Find a place to stow your county issue!"

A guard arrives and tells them work start at 1100 today. They have 10 minutes to get dressed!

They walk out to a sea of blue denim and orange hats

They all climb on the jail bus and head to Deer Pafh Road for a cleanup detail. Hugh's cellmate tells him every day is a different job and a different start and finish time.

They spend the next 8 hours until the sun sets cleaning up other people's shit!

At the end of fhe day, they all shower and change before getting fed.

Dehumanization is part of it. Being touched is part of it. Being mocked is part of it. This happens every day.
